Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality.

This beautifully remodeled, pet friendly condo boasts beautiful wood flooring throughout. In the bedroom you will find a luxurious king-size bed, a smart tv with a roku remote, modern bedside tables, 2 luggage racks, plenty of closet space, and a dresser so you can fully unpack to feel more at home. The living room offers a comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa, a cozy arm chair, tv with a roku remote, electric fireplace, and beautiful side tables. There is also a dining room table with a glass top that seats 3. The kitchenette offers a 2 burner cook-top, dishwasher, 12 cup coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, cooking and serving necessities, and built in sink with a granite countertop. In the handy coat closet you will find an iron with an ironing board, broom, and the bedding for the sofa-bed. The large bathroom offers a jet tub, walk-in shower and separate toilet room, the vanity provides additional storage. In addition to the fabulous interior, through the sliding glass door you will find a 4 person seating arrangement on the large screened in porch! No need to worry about privacy, the screen door locks and the curtains close fully.

We provide towels and mini soaps for your use, and limited daily housekeeping services. Be sure to ask the front desk if you need a playpen or high-chair if you have a little one.

Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Only average, perhaps below average room.

Great location - central to town -- and on site help that was congenial and service oriented. However, the accommodations are certainly dated with a wooden at water damaged surround wrapping the tub in need of refinish, a non-functioning wall clock, a television that would not function properly and exposed, wire-nutted, line-voltage wiring powering the kitchenette sink light. Exposed wiring - this is not a third-world country!

Fantastic Location

We enjoyed being walking distance from the shops and restaurants. The screened in porch was so nice to enjoy as it was raining outside. The bed is comfortable. Shower is tiny. We would come back again.

Nice place, good location. My only disappointment was when staying one night, was unable to use pool. Closes one hour after check in and opens one hour before check out.

clean and comfortable

A nice property. The indoor patio and big jacuzzi tub are unique features. Management was helpful and communicated well. There was a sound like running water we think coming from another unit that was constant ( only heard in the bedroom) and could use a better blackout curtain in the bedroom. We didn't bring these concerns up as they were minimal, I believe the property managers would gladly look into these items and see what they could do.

The property was good to stay at. It had access to everything. The condo/room was nice. The mattress cover on pull out couch was dirty and stained. Also the couch had not been moved and cleaned under. The bathroom floor was also dirty. Would i stay here again? Id give them another chance.

Very pleasant stay

Everything was wonderful. The only hiccup over our 4-night stay was on Saturday morning when another guest obviously had a small dog. While trying to get an hour or two of extra sleep, the dog barked continuously for about 45 minutes. Other than that, our stay was fantastic.

They were very welcoming to my puppy - had dog bowls available, and it was very easy to care for my dog while I was there with the private garden area and how walkable it was to the beach for him to run and play. I hope to come back and stay again!

Oversold and overpriced

I've stayed at $80 Holiday Inn Express that had better "kitchens" and more modern bathrooms. It's overpriced for the quality. Is it clean? Sure, but it's extremely dated, the pool was non-functional, no ice (except for a poorly functioning freezer compartment in a small refrigerator). The funniest thing is that the sign outside the property says "Full Kitchen" (I snapped a photo because of the comedic value). The staff was super friendly though and it was clean - it's just a poor quality hotel (I wouldn't even classify it as a "condo", really...) Now at least we know where to stay in Charlevoix next time - it's not at this property.
