This private, charming studio cottage is located in Old Windemere, a neighborhood founded in 1926, which is the perfect location for any activity you want to enjoy while visiting Charleston. The cottage is within walking distance to more than a dozen restaurants, great shopping, and the West Ashley Greenway, a seven-mile paved path through neighborhoods and wetlands used by walkers, runners, and bikers.

Historic Charleston, with its history, restaurants, and shopping is a quick drive over the beautiful Ashley River bridge, and the eclectic funky Folly Beach, the Edge of America, and Sullivan's Island are both 9 miles away, and the Isle of Palms only 14 miles.

The cottage offers all of the amenities that you’ll need for a great vacation including a queen bed, a sofa sleeper, a full refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, cable and wifi, grill, fire pit and private courtyard.

What a beautiful quaint bungalow to stay for a few days. Easy to get to and so close to everything wonderful in Charleston. For walkers and runners, a great paved trail, Ashley Greenway that is right around the corner to start your day.

I had a nice relaxing stay at the studio cottage. Perfect for a couple and close to downtown. I was visiting my son at the Citadel. Located in a safe neighborhood and the hosts were accommodating and super friendly. I only had one issue and that was the mold in the split AC/heating unit. I left a night early due to the issue. I brought it to the hosts attention and they were not aware of the mold and were going to take care of it before the next guests booked. Cute and private and would def rent again.

Great spot for a weekend visit to Charleston. Bungalow is great for a couple and well equipped. Furniture is comfortable. Close to downtown but a nice quiet neighborhood. Check in process was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was excellent Super comfy bed and pillows.Patio so nice to have and hang out on, very quiet. Lyfts were easy and quick to downtown area. We did meet one of our host on his way to walk his beautiful dog. So nice. They left welcome gifts of white and red wine. We appreciate so much. Had already had a bottle of our own. So left for the next guest. We did think there was a fire pit and brought wood to have a fire at night. But there wasnt there. Have a grill, outdoor table 4 chairs and 2 extra with side metal table. Perfect. We were there for a wedding. So only went to maket which was fantastic. Henerys which right next to market. Fabulous burger and shrimp boboy. Pearls. Excellent oysters any way sereved. And downtown on has a painkiller drink. Oh my goodness. I need to recreate yum yum yum. They had everything we needed at the cottage. We absolutely loved our stay k

This cottage on the grounds of the owners’ home was a wonderful, quiet, neighborhood oasis after a busy day in the city. You are provided a private entrance with courtyard to enjoy. The cottage met all of our needs and is in walking distance of grocery, shopping and restaurants- or a quick Uber to downtown, mt pleasant and other areas. Wonderful walking path through neighborhood, as well. Hosts were excellent communicators and extremely helpful in planning our trip!

The cottage was great for us. We were in town to attend a football game at the Citadel. The location was convenient to everything. Will and Tricia provide the small details that make for a pleasant stay like coffee pods, shampoo, and even a bottle of wine! They are wonderful, gracious hosts! Peace and Love!

Perfect little bungalow

I took my daughter for a mother-daughter trip prior to her heading off to college, and this was the perfect spot! Close to everything we wanted to do in Charleston, including King Street. Our host thought of everything, including local treats and tips for places to eat/drink in the area. The bed was comfy, the shower fantastic, and the kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend!! We’ll be back!

Two adults, one teenager, one kiddo all stayed in this adorable studio-style cottage for our first ever family vacation. It was a great size for our needs, the kitchenette served its purpose perfectly, we loved being able to use the grill, the location was amazing, and the hot water never ran out! It seemed to be centrally located for all of our sightseeing and beach trips. Thank you for sharing this lovely cottage with us!

Great location. Great communication/instructions. Wonderful suggestions for local restaurants and sightseeing. Studio cottage just as advertised. Lots of very thoughtful extras (full size ironing board, toiletries, selection of coffee pods). Wine and crackers was a wonderful surprise! Wouldn't hesitate to book again!!!

We had a great stay in the cottage. The location was fantastic. It was an easy drive to downtown and the beach. Parking was off street in a private driveway that was very convenient. The cottage itself was well appointed. We were surprised with the bottle of wine and the stocked coffee bar. Would stay again!

Cute and Cozy

Cute and Cozy garage conversion in well-established neighborhood. Nautical design with numerous Charleston and antique accents. Very convenient to downtown Charleston, but away from the fray. I was a little concerned about privacy when I booked (due to prior comments), but it was perfectly secluded. Sure you hear the neighbors, but it's an older neighborhood with plenty of neighbors. My husband and I really enjoyed spending time on the private patio - completely surrounded by the cottage, fencing and bushes - plenty of greenery (photos show primarily cement, but vegetation was plentiful). I perfect place for our Charleston stay.

Perfect and Private

This property is well decorated, clean, and has anything you could possibly want to cook a meal if you're not to busy eating the amazing restaurants in the area. Close to everything and in a gorgeous neighborhood. The hosts are quick to respond to any quails and it is very private.
