Loved this quiet secluded villa with pool and garden area. 20minute walk into Chanda old town and harbour. Staff delightful. Beautiful breakfasts on the balcony or in the garden.

Villa Andromeda felt more like home than hotel. It made a perfect base for exploring Chania and the region. The staff are friendly and kind. They went out of their way to help us with small things that made a big difference to our trip. Beautiful building, peaceful garden, glorious views and a warm welcome. We will be back!

Andromeda was the perfect place for our 3 night stay in Chania. It is a gracious building that had served as the German Embassy to Crete back in the day. It is well located outside just outside center city overlooking the sea, with easy access to everything in the area, while avoiding the hustle bustle of the central toursit area. The staff was uniformly gracious, accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was a very comfortable, spacious suite. We enjoyed breakfast and generally relaxing with in the garden and around the large pool. We had a wonderful stay!

Amazing stay!

This hotel is great, especially if you have a car. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. And it was worth the walk. You had a beautiful view of the sea, and a really nice pool. The staff was really helpful (especially the day we forgot to fill out our breakfast form, and the nice women made it for us right away) and breakfast was good. Truly enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful restored mansion which transports you into the fairytale world of your long lost great aunt. That is if your great aunt was a wealthy diplomat's wife. The service is warm and personal. The rooms are vintage in a delightfully comfortable way. Breakfast is customized each day to your preferences and a delicious array of choices are available. The only slight downside is the pool garden. While the pool is large and dreamy, it does attract swarms of mosquitoes (the only ones we encountered during two weeks exploring Crete). All in all a wonderful property that you should not hesitate booking.

Villa mit schöner Aussicht in ruhiger Lage. Innenstadt von Chania ist zu Fuß in ca 15 min zu erreichen. Da sPersonal war sehr freundlich und sehr herzlich - wirklich toll! Liebevolles Frühstück, das sowohl im Zimmer, am Pool oder auf der Terrasse serviert wird.

Bellissima villa con vista mare, suite a due piani con travi e parquet, avevamo la finestra che dava sul mare, quindi la sera vedevamo anche il tramonto. La colazione servita dalle gentilissime ragazze sil balcone era il top. Personale molto cortese.

Lovely quiet location with superb views

Lovely place, rooms were large with seating area, fridge and separate bedroom. Pool was big, adequate loungers for the small number of guests and lovely views from terrace. A bit of a walk into town but away from bustle of people.

We had to reschedule our trip shortly before we were due to arrive and the staff were very helpful in amending our booking, free of charge. The suite we had was lovely and spacious, and the communal outside area is fantastic with a large pool and a leafy garden. Our favourite part was the incredible breakfast is which we chose to have on the balcony overlooking the bay towards Chania - I cant eat wheat but there was plenty of choice for me and it’s a nice touch to have breakfast served rather than buffet style

I loved the location of the villa because it was only a km away from the old town but had a great seaside view and a small village nearby with great restaurants hidden near the waters edge ... I highly recommend this b&b for the location service efficiency in helping guest enquires & friendliness.

Wonderful villa hotel opn the seafront

An amazing stay in a beautiful hotel staffed by friendly, helpful people (Anna and Zoi were both amazing). Our room (a two-storey maisonette) was clean, extremely spacious and well-appointed - easily big enough for the three of us to stay there in real comfort. Breakfast (prepared and served by some very charming ladies) was served on the balcony with stunning views over the sea. The breakfast was always freshly made and delicious. A twenty-minute pleasant stroll along the seafront to Chania old town which means you are away from the noise and can relax in peace and quiet. I strongly recopmmend this hotel to anyone staying in Chania.

Great Location. Lacking Services. Cool Building

The location is great but the overall property is less than expected. The photos make it look like it is a sizeable property with a restaurant and a bellman to help you with your luggage but they don't have these services. I felt bad having the lady help me with my bag as she was older than I with heels on. If you travel light then this wouldn't be an issue. The view from the veranda was great but i was under the impression that our room also had that view, but no. Of the 5 or 6 rooms at the property 2 have the view. You can go out on the veranda though whenever you want and the property was not crowded because so few rooms. Everyone was nice but there were little things that were just off. Like the chairs on the terrace all sunk in because the cloth seats were measured incorrectly. TV was very small which was annoying trying to watch world cup. The street is pretty loud in front of the property and our room in the back of the hotel looked out on a construction zone on an apartment building. it was the weekend so no noise but would definitely want to check that if staying during the week. One can walk from this hotel to a great restaurant 4min away and 20min to the best of Chania. It's a nice walk along the water. The biggest let down was the hot tub with jets was not heated. The owner said it was a "kid pool" I've never seen a kid pool that had jets. Would have been so lovely to sit out there in the evening in a hot tub after so much walking around. Very friendly staff. Slightly out of town but walkable. However, be warned that road nearest hotel is busy and noisy. Good on-site parking. Nice garden. Could use a room safe and better supplies of tea etc.

Beautiful villa overlooking the sea.

Staff could not do enough for you. Fresh flowers in the room together with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Breakfast was served on the balcony and consisted of freshly squeezed Orange juice, coffees, tea, hot chocolate, croissants, breads, home made marmalade and jam. You could then ask for eggs, fresh fruit or yoghurt and there was always a little surprise added. Suite was on two floors, a sitting room, a bedroom and bathroom. Towels were changed every day including g the beach towels provided. Masses of storage space. It is a 15 minute easy walk into Charnia and there is a bus stop 2 minutes walk away.

Lovely classy, hotel with wonderful staff who made us feel very welcome. Extremely comfortable room on two levels overlooking the sea. . Sitting on the balcony with a delicious breakfast was a lovely experience each morning and the pool and gardens very inviting. Athena and Anna were very helpful suggesting places to eat and visit. 5 Star... will definitely recommend and hope to revisit next year.

Great Boutique Hotel walking distance from town

We stayed at Villa Andromeda and we felt like we were staying with family from the moment we arrived. Set in a beautiful historic mansion this boutique hotel on a busy road overlooking the sea and the old city was charming and character filled. The staff and owner were warm and welcoming. As it is in a classy neighborhood we enjoyed exploring the local coffee house and Tavern as well as taking the short walk into historic Chania. If you like to be close to the bustle but not too close this is a great choice and breafast on the balcony is a delight.

Ottima qualità ad un prezzo adeguato

Accoglienza assolutamente disponibile, ottimi consigli per il nostro soggiorno, perfetto e comodo il parcheggio per l'auto. Tranquillità del posto e degli altri ospiti (particolare da non trascurare). Ottima ed abbondante colazione personalizzabile sulle esigenze degli ospiti e servita in uno splendido giardino.

Einfach traumhaft. Eine Villa im historischen Stil, Toller Pool, direkt am Meer, nur ein kurzer Weg zu den Restaurants im Hafen. Jedes Zimmer ist eine stilvolle Suite. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal!
