This review is largely based on what I found to be off-center advertising practices from the hotel. On a one-to-one basis, they’re not that big a deal, but added together left us wishing we stayed at another hotel. We booked a king size room. I was traveling with my husband and infant son, and wanted the extra bed space. The Darcy is listed as a family friendly hotel, stated they offered king-size beds, and have refrigerators in each room. Their customer service was terrible, they weren’t helpful with information about THEIR OWN hotel and amenities. The thermostat also suddenly stopped working so we couldn’t control the air. The speakeasy was so overrun with non-hotel guests that we couldn’t get in after paying almost $400 for one night. "When I first arrive I had checked in early. They was very helpful and let me do it free of charge. Took a shower and took a nap. Woke up used the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush.
