The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything required for our stay. Breakfast was good, and the available parking was very convenient. "Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! "Good single room in this inn for a traveller at reasonable rate. Great basic breakfast, pay a bit extra for cooked stuff. Lovely friendly staff. I loved the bar atmosphere, a hub for locals and for Welsh singing and music-making (at weekend, when I was there, at least.) Good Celtic kind of "craic"."

"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

"Room was clean, bathroom could have been cleaner, soap and shampoo in the bathroom was very watery and the TV remote was sticky? Hotel generally was clean, staff are a great strength of this hotel. I was told on arrival that dinner was fully booked until 20:00 so if you want to eat here book in advance. I ended up eating elsewhere. Breakfast was good. Overall a good hotel, I would stay here again"

"We had a lovely stay here, the property is close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Unfortunately, we noticed damp patches in the kitchen and the living room and a bit of mold in the bathroom around the bath. The rooms are spacious, however, the extremely steep steps from the top floor to the first floor had to be cautiously approached in the dark during bathroom visits. The games were great additions and they created joy, fun and social interactions. We had no problem with finding free parking...
