Being the beautiful town of Czech Republic, many tourist will come here when they come to Prague. It takes about 3 hours to arrive here. .
The view over the part of the village near the river is nothing short of stunning in winter. I was up in the top of the castle tower listening to the river talking away down below. #snow #Architecture #Details
Cesky Krumlov city from the castle - wrapped around by the Vlatava river - which acted as a moat and protected the city during wars. A colorful beautiful city which definitely was the highlight of my trip! This is a UNESCO world heritage site! No cars are allowed in the old city ... love love love this place! It was mid way from Salzburg to Prague on our road trip! #stunningstructures #ceskykrumlov #czechrepublic

August 2016 Český Krumlov Krumlov is a small city in South Bohemia with its historical old town in the horseshoe bend of Vltava river and unusually big castle watching over it. Established in 13th century on an important trade route, town belonged to Houses of Rosenberg, Eggenberg and Schwarzenberg. Most of the architecture dates to 14th to 17th century in Gothic, Rennaisance and Baroque styles. Restored after 1989 and very popular with tourists. The tower was rebuilt with the castle in rennaisance style in 1580 under Vilem of House Rosenberg and it gives splendid views over the city and castle. The river is a popular place for rafting and canoeing. The unique location, architecture and cultural history made the city a rightful UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. #unesco
