Viatges a Centre de Hampton

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Do not stay here especially with young kids. Very unclean and horrible customer service. My sister and I were set to stay for 4 days and felt like the pictures online seemed ok. We arrived late at night after driving over 8 hours and checked into the first room that smelled so badly of mold we could not stay with our two young kids. Front desk gave us a second room that also smelled like mold (although not as strongly). The carpet felt as though it was wet at one point and dried and was not replaced. The air conditioning was clearly not run to save money leaving the room feeling very “moist” and smelly. The overall look of the place was outdated and dirty inside. The steps going upstairs was so dirty it looked like no one had cleaned them in who knows how long. The front area was hot and sticky seemingly not air conditioned. We decided to stay elsewhere at that point. Front desk refused to refund my sisters stay. Luckily, I had purchased the cancellation plan on Expedia and they honored mine. Not only would they not refund hers, he was incredibly rude about it. I realize there is a cancellation policy however, the smell was undeniable and the overall shape of the room. When you pay almost 190 a night for a room, you don’t expect perfection but at least basic cleanliness and that was not provided and neither was the right level of customer service in this situation.

The staff was very helpful. If we had any issues, the immediately stepped up to solve the issue.

Overall it was ok

The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The building is very out dated. Carpet was torn and dirty. Huge gap in the door so bugs etc can get in. Poop was clean and loved the free coffee and danish each day at the shop next door.
