"You can see updates are being made to the location. Staff were all pleasant, kind and helpful. The room could have been a bit cleaner. There was always a lingering odor, but unsure what it was. It was pretty bad in the room especially when the air conditioning came on. A weird smell throughout. They served a nice, hit breakfast in the morning 😊 Overall, it wasn't terrible. Once all the updates are done, it will be "the place" to stay, but cost more I'm sure. Not bad for 150.00 a night."

"We came in Sunday, the 12th, for one night. We were put into a room beside a person going thru some sort of mental crisis and was arguing and cussing with himself so loudly that we couldn’t sleep. We went down to the front desk and asked for a different room and was accommodated. That’s not the issue but it bears noting. "This hotel offers a great smaller and quiet option in Ocean Shores with walking access to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the Events Center. The 2 Queen rooms are smaller but very clean and beds comfortable. Did not use any amenities- no comment."

"My husband and I both work in 4 star hotels, so we have very high expectations…This place was wonderful and just what our busy family needed! "I didn't know what to expect when I booked this place, expectations were low when I arrived but this place ended up being a highlight of my trip! I found the resort to be very quaint and homely, the fire pits were probably my favorite part. My little "cabin" I guess you could call the style, was clean and had everything I could ask for. I wish I could remember the operator's name, he was super welcoming and helpful. Definitely will stay again if I'm in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay .the house was set up with everything we needed. The kids loved the toys and felt right at home watching TV. My grandkids really liked the kids room and my granddaughter wants a bed just like the one there .we had a wonderful time right around the corner to the ocean beach. Plenty on room for us and comfy beds too .I'm hoping to get back soon .I really liked the house ."
