It is very charming, has a great restaurant and beer garden and allows for walking to local shops and restaurants and is a short drive to the castles. "The room was clean and provided all the amenities. The hotel staff was kind. Minuses — dogs barking and dogs off leash and left unattended. We were awoken by a dog barking every morning around 7:00 am, the start of breakfast. Obviously, the dog was left unattended. Outdoor furniture was covered and not available for those who wanted to sit outside and enjoy a drink on the patio. The location was great, but very crowded with tourists. It was a nice stay, but we wouldn’t stay here again."

"Jennifer, our host was amazing helpful. We didn’t have an option to come near check in time as we had to catch the only train going to Fussen from Munich early in the morning. Jennifer helped store our luggage and checked us in an hour earlier than normal check in time. She also went out of her way to hand deliver the Fussen Passes the next morning since those were overlooked during check in time. The room and hotel were tastefully decorated and very clean, so clean that I didn’t even feel...

"Clean place, I ended up there by chance and on arrival we got a lot of attitude and ended up in a twin bedded room in the attic where you banged your head on the ceiling in 60% of the room if you are over 1.80m ... not what I paid for but I was too tired to try and educate the rude receptionist how to speak and treat guests.... It takes a lot for me to write a review and I apologise if the staff think it was us that was the problem staying in their place."
