"Second time staying here, a pleasant experience overall. Checking in was a bit annoying, since only the bartender could do the process, and he was unfortunately swamped with bar customers for a while. Not sure why another staff member couldn't take care of the process. Other than that, clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location. Noise from the shows below isn't so bad, although noise from other guests in the hallways in the mornings can be a bit much, but not unexpected given the layout...

"Room was beautiful, i was in a room with a loft, I was a little disappointed that there was not a bathroom up stairs so you had to walk down stairs to use the restroom and the stairs spiraled so if you drank alcohol is made it difficult to walk down safely"

"The price is good and it is convenient to the Rose garden and the famous bookstore. But the parking was tight and the room was not very clean. It was not very easy for me to locate."

"The guy at the front desk was rude and really not helpful regarding rooms and reservations, overall horrible experience and the front of the office is also under construction which just makes the mess an eyesore to look at along with the homeless/druggies roaming around in the parking lot felt uncomfortable I left within 2 hrs. If I could ZERO stars!"

"Truly, you’d be better off sleeping in your car. My friend and I stayed here for a concert, and the only perk was the walking distance to the Moda Center. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, but it wasn’t until we were in bed, ready to sleep, that the real disgust set in. A little bug scurried across my face, and when I opened my eyes, saw it and noticed tiny red, mite-like bugs all over my bed. This hotel has a bed bug infestation. We immediately went downstairs to check...

"Arrived late, no one at front desk had to knock on door, lady sent her husband out he asked why I was there I obviously told him I had a reservation, after lady spoke to manager on the phone, he then walked me to my room which was hostel style and how disgusting that room was, cigarettes and tobacco littered the table, very trashy room, horrid smell. As it was 1:30am I had no choice but to stay. Soon as I woke up at 7am I left the property. I’m a solo traveler so I had the flexibility I guess...

"We often stay at Hampton Inns because of their consistent quality. This one met our high expectations. The hotel is secure. The Pearl District felt safe as we explored the neighborhood. We used the valet parking, fairly priced at $46 per 24 hours. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Water pressure in the shower very good. The complimentary breakfast featured three of those great waffle makers. If you want a specialty coffee there are several coffee shops within easy walking distance....
