"Ellie welcomed us warmly and efficiently. We stayed in "Penny's Attic" so it was perfectly situated for my daughter and her husband in the main room and me in the alcove. We even had the top floor deck all to ourselves - beautiful sea breeze was felt even if we couldn't see the ocean. Close walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and served. The only constructive criticism is the bed in the alcove is terribly hard and really uncomfortable. ...

"We love staying at The Collector and have several times. It is always very clean and well kept. It is antique and if you are on the lower level you will hear the guests above walking on the wood floor. Try the Well for a cocktail, they never disappoint and the staff are all great. The pool is a welcoming relief after walking all day through the shops and historical sites."

"I took a day trip to St. Augustine with my partner and we stayed at this inn. It’s in the heart of the historic center of St. Augustine so we did not have to drive once since we got there. "This is a great property. The staff were absolutely amazing and super helpful. There are a few drawbacks for the price. While the property is air conditioned, there is only one control for all the rooms. This is a bit of an issue if you visit in July like I did. It was unbearably cold in the room because it had to accommodate everyone’s preference at the same time. Also when I read the reviews it said amazing breakfast and that was for me a reason to pick this property. The breakfast is as basic...

"Cozy but need a little TLC. Shower was not working good. The picture and actual hotel front was not really the same. It needs paint ."

"Location was great! Centrally located, walked to everything. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean, place was clean, Barbara at the front desk was awesome and she bakes very good cookies which were available every day. Very nice court yard and deck so plenty of relaxing areas. Building is a little older, however they are making updates with a bar / kitchen coming soon. We will definitely stay here again."
