Cedarburg Wandernhaus... A calming private apartment in the heart the historic business district, located on Washington Ave just steps to a variety of local restaurants, small shops, wineries, breweries, parks...yet set back for those quiet moments when you need a timeout. The 2 br apartment is situated above a private garage accessed by stairs, loaded with everything you need for a 5 star stay whether it's for 1 night, a week, or more. A living room to hang out in and a full kitchen to either heat up your leftovers from a restaurant, or make a quick meal before heading out to explore more is a better value compared to a 1 room bnb. Choice linens and varied pillows for a great night sleep. We DO NOT charge a cleaning fee and we just ask for you to do a couple of things before you check(no cleaning)out. We expect a 5 star stay and pass it on to you. Don't see what you are looking for in this listing? Message us so we can make it work.

Cozy chic

Had a great time staying in Cedarburg Wisconsin. It was so fun to be downtown and have access to all the shops and eateries. The trip was planned out well communications before and during our stay were fabulous. We were able to get in like two hours early which was awesome. We so appreciate that. It was cozy for three adult women one bathroom, which was totally fine for three women. We had everything we needed. It was quiet. We were able to open the windows. It was a beautiful weather weekend on their places to sit outside so nice. I would definitely book it again.

Twisted Sister vacation

Our stay on Washington Street was great. The apartment is as described and in a prime location for walking, shopping and dining. The amenities were well supplied and greatly appreciated. The owners live on property and were very gracious and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again, but at least 2 or 3 nights to explore more of Washington Street shops and sites.

Ideal for Exploring Cedarburg

This was the second time we have stayed in this property. We had a good experience the first time so this was our first choice when visited Cedarburg again. The property is roomy, clean and close to the shops of Cedarburg. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

Excellent experience!

This cozy 2 bedroom apt was perfect for myself and two friends for a girls getaway weekend. We wanted to walk downtown Cedarburg and the location was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was welcoming, from the throw pillows to the warm, fuzzy throws all over the apt. We will be back in fall!

Cozy quaint apartment

I was in town for a funeral rather than a vacation or other fun reason, but this apartment was in a perfect location for the Cedarburg restaurants and shops. It served our needs perfectly and I liked that there were 2 separate bedrooms plus the sofa sleeper for 3 separate sleeping areas but at an affordable price. There were several thoughtful snacks provided! I would rebook if returning to the area!

Girls overnight trip

My 2 sisters, my mom and I came to Cedarburg to celebrate my moms birthday. The apartment is in prime location and the owners are amazing. Communication was great and they were very accommodating. The apartment has everything you need- comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, lots of room for games, and within walking distance of everything. We are excited to visit againdefinitelagain.

Fantastic rental

First of all, hosts communicated in advance with very helpful tips. We were there over Christmas and knew nothing about the area. We were able to reserve a birthday cake for our Christmas birthday daughter at the place right next door and they even offered to pick it up if we didn’t get there on time. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated with extra Christmas touches. It’s literally right in the historic shopping area and everything is in easy walking distance. Food recommendations are listed in the apartment. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this place. The place has everything you can think of and more. Games, tv, books. If we ever find ourselves here again we would absolutely choose this place.

Hallmark Christmas

This is our second year staying at this cute apartment in downtown Cedarburg and enjoying all the Christmas festivities. No need to worry about parking as you are right downtown. We will definitely be back next year.

Cedarburg Girls Getaway

I heard Cedarburg was a fun place for a getaway, and it didn’t disappoint, except for we visited on a Tuesday and a few wineries were closed. Lol We will return, our vrbo was wonderful, great location, right on Washington Ave. We parked the car and could walk to all the shops and restaurants. Kathleens apartment is cozy, very clean, and comfortable. Loved the Christmas tree!!! Has all the amenities you need. We loved it!! All her suggestions were spot on! Great communication. Lunch at the Anvil Pub and dinner at the stilt House were excellent!!! Friendly towns people We would love to return when we could stay longer

Great, safe place to stay

We came to Wisconsin visit family. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment is upstairs. It was very clean and sufficient for our party of 6. There were a few board games available, which our boys enjoyed. There were also some books available for adults and children. We went to Holy Hill, Lake Michigan, Bookworm Gardens, Green Bay stadium, Madison (Fromagination and Olbrich Gardens are a must see), and explored Cedarburg during our stay. I tried a couple of local coffee shops and we went to several shops on the day we walked around exploring Cedarburg. Kathy was easily contacted if we had any needs and ready to give suggestions if we needed something to do. Overall, I felt like this was a safe area with plenty to do for our family. We would stay here again.

Wonderful location!

Lovely apartment had everything you could want in the perfect location. Our best part was playing games at the table sharing lots of laughs! The 1st place my friends ate was literally next door (Dorsey's). Only drove the car twice our entire trip because everything is in walking distance of the apartment. Kathy communicates so well and gave many great recommendations. My favorites were Cedarburg Roasters for coffee, Dorsey's for brunch, Milwaukee Ale House in Grafton for burgers, and Lillies for shopping. The evening strolls on the lit streets while people were out walking their dogs was like being in a Hallmark movie! Me being gluten free, I was delighted to find that every restaurant we chose had options for me to eat! This wonderful stay made me want to make this an annual trip with my friends! Thanks so much for inviting us into your little home away from home.

This apt. Is located in the heart of Cedarburg surrounded by shops and restaurants. The host Kathy and Marty are super friendly and had everything set up in the apartment for our stay. Forget something?? They had it there. It is equipped with everything. Thank you both.

Anniversary Get Away

We had visited Cedarburg in the winter, but we wanted to experience it in the summer. We were not disappointed! The weather was perfect! We enjoyed hiking at Lions Den in Grafton, walking in Cedarburg, relaxing outside at the Wandernhaus, and eating at the Stilt House and the Anvil. Loved breakfast at PJ Piper Pancake House. Our accommodations were excellent, and the property owner was very friendly and helpful. Great little get-away!
