Guests have access to the full use of their rental home and surrounding common area space, including large recreation area/ball court and relaxation areas on Property.

Outdoor seating, firepit patio seating, and picnic table areas are first-come, first-served. You are also welcome to bring your own lawn chairs for larger parties, too, if driving. Please be kind to other guests who may be on property.

Boat and watersports are on available for rental on our property just feet below the home at the dock. Contact host(s) for rates (discounted for guests), and availability if you did not already book your activity at time of lodging booking.

Boat, tubing, and kayak rentals can be booked by contacting us directly after lodging booking. Fishing charters and boat tours are available as well, anytime of year.

You may freely fish from the dock with your fishing gear. Please note that the fishing gear located on poles in the boats are reserved for those booking a boat rentals or Fishing Charters, so please do not remove from boat at any time.

This 2BR · 1BA home Sleeps 6 comfortably, but with the very large living room, just bring your air mattresses and sleep an additional 6! We do offer a portable pack-n-play crib for those travelling with infants or toddlers.

We are Pet-Friendly, although you must book in advance and pay an extra pet cleaning fee.

Guest Access is offered to the 120’ boat dock, plus other outdoor shared amenities such as gazebos and picnic areas, a large firepit and relaxing surrounding stone patio with community grill area (although each home has its own grill on their decks), and a 42' X 22' concrete pad for use as a pickleball/ tennis/ or volleyball court (we provide the court set-up, racquets and balls including football and soccer balls). Corn Hole and Life-sized games like giant Jenga for indoor or outdoor fun are also on property. Indoor board games are provided, too.

This home also has an extra dining area for casual eating overlooking the water with sliding glass door access to the large surrounding outdoor deck, including a deck and seating area over the water. The deck below offers straight to the water access and a boat lift, and you can fish right off any of the deck areas right over the water. All outdoor deck areas offer amazing waterfront views for peace and serenity, or for use as outdoor entertainment areas.

It's just a few steps away to our property’s community boat dock (useable by any guest in any one of our guest rental homes (2) or RV on property – enjoyable for sitting, relaxing or fishing off the dock).

You can bring your own boat, jet skis or kayaks and we will share where to put them in the water just a few minutes away, and you can dock your craft right below your rental. OR, rent one of our boats, guided fishing charters, kayaks or tubes for an amazing day out on the water. Just contact us to inquire about pricing (discounted for lodging guests), and availability.

Directions & Entry:

Your GPS should direct you well, but it will give you three routes once on Blacks Bluff Rd. Follow directions that keep you on Blacks Bluff Rd.
Follow approx. 3 miles and you will see a sign on Right that says ‘Coosa River Outfitters’.

Turn RIGHT at that gravel road entrance in front of sign, and please drive slowly as we are in the process of paving it from our landline to the property gates but only about 1/3 of road is blacktopped thus far.

When you get to the end of the road you will see a ‘Private Property’ sign posted on a tree on the left. THAT IS NOT US. DO NOT GO STRAIGHT, rather TURN RIGHT. Follow gravel drive until you see a fenced gate on the left and turn left into property.

The House has a small lighted sign with the numbers ‘8126’ staked near front of drive. You can pull right in and park under the covered parking area. Access to the home will be through the gate on the right. There are two entry doors. Locate the door with the lockbox to gain entry.

Please note that our property includes a house to the left of your rental no. 8126 and an RV to the left of that home, one or both of which may be rented to other guests.

Common areas, along with the 120’ dock at Rivers Edge are to be shared on a first-come first-served basis similar to any other hotel or multi-property vacation spot. Our dock is private and useable only by our guests in the 3 units, and the boat, kayaks, tubes, skis and fishing poles are also ours. If you are interested in renting, contact the host for information.

Please be courteous, and pick up after yourselves before exiting common areas.

Amazing place. Much more than just a rental. Mrs terry and Dustin were above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed. I will come back for a family vacation at my earliest convenience. Coosa river is beautiful. We could not have been more pleased.

We overall enjoyed our stay here but I do think there are a couple things worth noting. One, the driveway in is a long very bumpy gravel road we weren’t expecting and definitely needs to be paved. Also the description of the property doesn’t really mention that all the houses on the property share the dock and amenities. A couple that was in another house really didn’t like/understand that we could all fish on the dock. I think they are renovating a lot of the property and I think it has a lot of potential. Like I said we ended up having a great time. The property manager was excellent and responded to everything we needed. It was great to be able to fish right from the balcony of the house or from the shared community dock. The home has been renovated inside as well and is much nicer than expected. If you’re looking to get away, enjoy the quiet, and spend a lot of time fishing, then this is a great option.
