Relax at our newly constructed Four-Season lakeside retreat. Our family friendly cottage features a spacious loft area with half bath and master bedrooms and bathrooms on the first and lower levels. The first level has a spacious open floor plan with full kitchen, dining area and living room that features spectacular lake views. The lower level amenities include a media/gaming room, recreation room w/coffee bar & laundry. Enjoy the scenery from an expansive deck & patio and swim from your own personal beach.

Perfect family getaway

This is our 3rd stay at this beautiful lake house and I am about to book 8 more nights in 2026. This home is beautiful inside and out and it’s always spotless. Our whole family enjoyed daily kayak trips and our grandchildren spent a lot of time swimming in the lake. It’s a peaceful area and I especially enjoyed having my coffee on the lovely wrap around porch in the am watching the sun rise. Looking forward to our next stay.

The Dragonfly Inn was ideal for our family weekend away. The house layout was perfect for us, with comfortable accomodations and plenty of indoor and outdoor lounging options. Access to the lake couldn't have been easier, and we spent considerable time kayaking and swimming. We will definitely return in the future!

This place is awesome! It’s such a beautiful house with a a wonderful view of the lake. The furniture and bedding were very comfortable, just a great place to relax, unwind and spend time with family. The outside was also stunning and we spent the warm days floating on an inner tube.I would highly recommend this house for your next trip, it does not disappoint! Also Rodney the host was easily accessible if needed and went above and beyond.

Amazing location. BEAUTIFUL HOME

This house was one of the best we have rented. Layout was great and the house was amazing. So many beautiful finishes and they thought of everything. We loved the kayaks, fishing poles, firepit with wood inlcuded, Keurig and huge porch.

Great lakeside retreat

We ventured here for our first northern lake vacation. The host was great to communicate with. The house was very clean and well stocked with cooking supplies, grill supplies, throw blankets and plenty of seating for our family to gather together for meals and entertainment. We were also able to find peaceful spots to relax for some alone time as well. The beds were very comfortable. There were nice areas to sit on the deck and read without being in the sunlight. There is a nice table on the deck for eating out as well as a covered picnic table near the grill. Our family enjoyed searching for the painted rocks, kayaking on the lakes, reading outside, S'mores by the dock firepit, and just sitting on the dock watching the kids have fun. There are some stores nearby to get things you need without driving to Fredonia. It was a nice rural setting that was within 15-30 minutes of a larger town with chain stores. If your looking to get away from the hustle of "city life", this is a tranquil place where we found peace and relaxation.

The Best

This is the 5th or 6th time I’ve stayed on one of Rodney’s two Cassadaga properties. Always outstanding. Clean, beautifully cared for, and peaceful. I cannot say enough positive about staying at the Dragonfly Inn.

Can’t wait to return!

Our stay at The Dragonfly Inn was great. The house was really clean and comfortable, has great space that fit my whole family and has such a wonderful view and access to the lake. Five stars all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Perfect Fall Vacation!

Our stay at the Dragonfly Inn and Resort was absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful time seeing the beautiful fall trees that surround the lake, kayaking, making smores, and spending quality time together. The property is gorgeous and has so much to do including a fun tree house that my son absolutely loved exploring. They truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We are already planning on coming back! 10/10 would recommend!

Relaxing Friends vacation

We had a fantastic week with our friends swimming, kayaking and enjoying this spectacular house. The hosts have thought of all the details that make or break a stay: comfy beds and bedding, great furniture, kayaks to use, bikes to ride. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy time with loved ones. Would recommend without hesitation!

Nothing was overlooked

I don’t think 5 stars even touches how wonderful the Dragonfly Inn is. From the second we puled into the driveway we could tell this place was going to be perfect. Inside and out this home is gorgeous and well appointed! The kayaks and beach were a hit with the kids and adults! I wanted to take the whole site home with me 😀 The owners were super responsive to all communication before, during, and after our trip. The town of Cassadaga had all we needed- pizza, coffee, and ice cream! We’ll be back!

Couldn't have asked for anything more...

Had the most amazing time at this lakeside cottage, and the owners thought of everything to make our stay welcoming and effortless. There is so much to do here, from kayaking/paddle boarding to simply relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. This was a girls weekend for me, however this would be an amazing home for a family trip as well. Just 20 minutes from Chatauqua and the Lake Erie Wine Trail. I absolutely loved the painted rocks placed around the cottage and the property. Such a super cute idea to allow guests to take one home as a memento. I wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely book again!

Cassadaga

An absolutely outstanding house. This is our fourth time staying with Rodney and Lisa as the hosts. They are tremendous in every way. Incredibly accommodating, crystal clear communication, and incredibly sweet and nice touches throughout the house. Every time we stay on one of their properties we are amazed. This property specifically is spacious, with beautiful lake access, and tremendous detail throughout. I cannot say enough positive things about this property, and about Rodney and Lisa.
