Welcome to our charming log cabin nestled in the heart of the woods! A perfect blend of rustic cabin vibes with modern amenities makes this a great retreat to get away from it all or as a homebase for all outdoor activities. Bring friends, family, and even pets! Secluded on over 1 acre yet close to the major attractions Cascade, Donnelly, and McCall have to offer.

Easily accessed during all seasons. 2 miles off the highway and only 1 mile of dirt road. Roads are plowed but all wheel drive is recommended during winter.

Full cell service and free WIFI.

Our cabin features 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. With plenty of space to spread out and relax, you'll feel right at home here. The rustic decor and wood finishes add to the cabin's charm and warmth.

A highlight of the cabin is the wood stove, which provides a cozy ambiance and helps keep the cabin toasty warm during cooler months. Curl up with a good book or board game in front of the fire, or head outside to explore the beautiful wooded surroundings.

The cabin is situated on one acre of land, offering plenty of room to roam and explore. Take a stroll through the woods, sit by the fire pit, or simply relax on the porch and enjoy the fresh air and peaceful sounds of nature.

We know how important pets are to our guests, so we welcome well-behaved furry friends to join you on your vacation. With so much outdoor space to enjoy, your pets will love the chance to run and play in the woods.

**The game room is in the basement garage which is not heated and has concrete floors. The garage is not kept to the same cleaning standards as the interior of the home so the floors might be dirty from walking traffic, shoes are recommended.

Cascade Get Away

The cabin was lovely, very comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen is fully stocked, with tableware, plates, pots and pans. We love to cook, and iur hosts made it easy. There is a nice table on the porch, and we loved sitting outside, enjoying the woods and beautiful fresh air. It is a short drive to Cascade Lake, which was so beautiful. McCall is also an easy drive. We hope to return soon!

Space and quiet

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. We brought our dogs and enjoyed some nice walks around the neighborhood. Inside: The house is equipped for both smaller children and pets with dog gates and barriers as well as non-toxic plants placed around the house. There were feeding/water bowls that our dogs went to right as we came in the door, as well as dog beds and cushions that the dogs appreciated. The people beds were all very comfortable but if you like firmer pillows you might want to bring one. All appliances worked with the only issue being some warping on a fry pan that made using the smooth top range a little tricky. There were plenty of all sorts of dishes. The dining seating area is counter height which looks nice but is not always comfortable for shorter people. The bathrooms were all well equipped with all necessary soaps and shampoo/conditioner and all of the towels were very thick and comfortable. We did not utilize the game room. The deck has a nice table for al fresco dining with a NW orientation -- the trees around the property do a good job of blocking the sun. The gas BBQ worked well. The fire pit is nicely configured and the property provided roasting sticks for marshmallows and/or brauts, as well as enough wood to set the mood for many hours. The back of the house has a hill of huckleberry bushes that will provide someone with a a very nice addition to their pancakes. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable accommodations. We love the location! There were clean towels and sheets, but some attention to detail was missed by the cleaning crew between guests. Overall though it feels like home away from home.

A Wonderful Place and Stay

This is our second time staying at this very clean and well kept cabin. The scenery is peaceful, beautiful and a far enough distance from the neighbors. Our host, Jesse is great at getting back to us right away, if we’ve any questions. We’ve nothing negat to say about the cabin and our stay. It was lovely.

This cabin is one of the best places we have ever stayed always very clean and acomadating it's our 2nd time staying there we are definitely looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone to stay there

Pefect Hideaway

This is such a charming cabin in the woods and was just what we were looking for! We enjoyed using the firepit. It was close to a hot springs, and we enjoyed exploring nearby McCall. We may just have to make this an annual tradition!

Wonderful getaway

Beautiful log cabin home with all the amenities for our weeklong stay. There were snacks and beverages provided when we arrived, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Lack of a dishwasher was not an issue at all. Plenty of extra blankets, as it got chilly in the evenings and early mornings. The kids loved the game room and spent a lot of time hanging out in the upstairs loft area. It was very peaceful and every time we looked out the windows, we enjoyed watching all the deer wandering the property. A plus is that the cabin is pet friendly as evidenced by the doggie bed, feeding 'station', and treats available. I imagine the summertime here is beautiful and would love to return to enjoy the deck and to sit around the firepit which was completely covered in snow during our visit. Thank you Jesse for making your cabin so welcoming and cozy!

Lovely Stay

The cabin was in a beautiful setting, nestled in the pine trees. There was attention to detail, from fall decor, snacks, plenty of towels, toilet paper and even an insect trap outdoors for mosquitoes. The cabin had a nice ambiance and was very peaceful. One of our dogs loved it so much, she didn’t want to leave. We had to carry her out. We’ve stayed in many cabins, throughout the years and that’s never happened before.

Great Cabin

We had a great stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and was as advertised. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. The area is beautiful with lots to do and close to Cascade. We definitely recommend!

This place was amazing!

I could not have asked for a better place to relax. Everything was so clean and convenient. It was everything advertised and more!! It was like being back home. The Taff’s were amazing, so personal and responsive to our questions.

Such a Great Cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our weekend stay in Cascade. It was extremely clean and felt very inviting and warm which made for a very comfortable stay. It only took about 5 minutes to get into town which was nice and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a weekend get away!

Memorial family getaway!

This property was so beautiful! We will all have memories to cherish for a lifetime! The owners have thought of it all! Everything from a pack-n-play to extra dog beds, complimentary snacks, and a bottle of wine. The location was great! Close enough to go to town, but it still had the feeling of being in the woods. We’ll be back!
