"Our 3-night stay at The Fairmount was outstanding from the time we checked in until the time we departed. The staff is world-class, always going above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. We had a beautiful two room suite on the third floor complete with all the amenities one would need. There was mold along the ceiling, wet spots on the walls throughout the room, moderate dust, and tons of scuffs/marks on walls/footboards throughout the building main floor and room floor. Broken &/or chipped floor tiles were a plenty, and the grout in the bathroom was various shades of gray to black with age/dirt. AC vents/registers were in DIRE need of a good cleaning, which doesn't bode well for condition of the ducting... Windows did...

"Housekeeping never came by our room. The fire alarm went off four times between 8pm and 11pm two nights in a row. When we requested for housekeeping to come by, they left the door open to our room. The elevator floors were left very sticky all day. I was not impressed by the overall cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. There is only Valet parking which is another $39 a day that is not included in the listed price. You are required to pay a $150 security deposit upfront even if you’ve already...
