"We stayed three nights. Our room was spotlessly clean, very quiet and comfortable. The restaurant is lovely and the food was great (a must is the Navajo Fry Bread!). But the staff were the most wonderful part of our experience. Special thanks to Tracy in the restaurant and Jorge in the bar for their excellent service. "

"This was our first time in San Antonio and if you need somewhere to stay this is the place. We were celebrating our anniversary plus a birthday and this place made us feel so special. We’re definitely coming back. "

"Excellent location. Convenient valet parking although a bit clumsy upon first drop-off. The property seems a bit old and the expedia photos don't reflect properly the room dectoration but overall the room was comfortable and suitably equipped. Staff is efficient but a bit hands-off. "

"Great location with ease of access to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Parking was acceptable though costly for someone not used to city parking. Unfortunately, the day prior to arrival, the air conditioning broke in the part of the building where our reserved room with king bed was located. We were given dual queen beds instead, but without any other compensation. We did not use the other services of the hotel."

"Great hotel that has all the amenities you would expect in a four star establishment. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Access to shopping, dining and adventure is only minutes away. I would highly recommend!"

"Loved Hotel Contessa. Beautiful property and the location was perfect. Easy walk to all downtown attractions, restaurants and shops. Being on the riverwalk was awesome!!! Roof top pool was my favorite spot over looking the city. "

"Beautiful hotel! From the time we arrived until leaving the staff was awesome. Martha at the front desk greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with any questions that we had. Complementary breakfast along with snacks and drinks served in the afternoon. Excellent place to stay."
