"Our 3-night stay at The Fairmount was outstanding from the time we checked in until the time we departed. The staff is world-class, always going above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. "Bathroom was not cleaned well, particularly the shower. There was mold along the ceiling, wet spots on the walls throughout the room, moderate dust, and tons of scuffs/marks on walls/footboards throughout the building main floor and room floor. Broken &/or chipped floor tiles were a plenty, and the grout in the bathroom was various shades of gray to black with age/dirt. AC vents/registers were in DIRE need of a good cleaning, which doesn't bode well for condition of the ducting... Windows did...

"The hotel was centrally located and allowed us to walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go-the riverwalk, Alamo and lots of dining. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, better than typical hotel food."
