"The staff were very helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. The room was spacious and had a fan so we were able to cool the room down on a very hot day and evening. It was very pleasant eating our Pub supper in the garden overlooking the weir. Breakfast was cooked to order and of a good standard."

"A nice twin room overlooking the rear of the hotel and kitchen extraction which meant we had to close the windows when breakfast started. It's a noisy, creaky hotel so no lie in.
Room was clean but other areas of hotel felt not so. There was a random mop and bucket of dirty water on the stairs the whole time we were there.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Parking easy (on a sunday) with £7 permit from hotel.
Breakfast was lovely, a decent choice and English breakfast items were great.

"I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay."
