Set on the banks of the Douro River and overlooking beautiful natural scenery, "A Casinha" offers air-conditioned rooms with a TV, a sleeping/seating area with satellite TV, an equipped kitchen and a bathroom. It features an outdoor pool (shared with the hotel guests) with far-reaching views.
Wi-fi free throughout the apartment.

This apartment is attached to the Hotel Casa Tua right next to the pool is shared with the guests of the Hotel.
For check-in at the apartment head towards the hotel.
It is possible to have breakfast at the hotel, it is necessary to reserve (additional price).

Our apartment in Tua was truly exceptional — a definite 10 experience! The location, perched above the breathtaking Douro River, offered stunning views that we never got tired of. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality. Jose greeted us with the kindness of an old friend every time we passed by the hotel — such a genuine and welcoming presence.Breakfast at the hotel was a daily highlight, with a delicious spread that included fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, breads, meats, and cheeses — everything you could want to start the day right.The peaceful surroundings and the scenic walking path along the river added to the magic. It’s easy to see why we completely fell in love with Tua. We can’t wait to return!

Fantastic place to stay

We stayed in the apartment which is a separate building and just like a 2 bedroom house. Very clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable bed. Parking is just outside and a 30 second walk to the main hotel where we had a great breakfast each day. The views are fantastic - across the river to the vineyards on the hillside and so peaceful. There is the railway station just a few minutes walk away which provides a good service. Jose, his family and staff are very friendly and helpful and we really can't fault anything about the place. Thank you Jose for a wonderful stay.

Nothing short of amazing

The host was very accommodating the fresh fruit around the area and the smell of orange blossoms I will never forget. It would be first on my list when going back to Portugal with beautiful views of the Duro River and local fisherman.

A Rare Find - Fell in Love with the Place

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this clean apartment. The view from the balcony that spans the living room, Kitchen, and Bedroom gave an awesome view of the Douro River and vineyards on the other side of the river. The village of Tuo is a sleepy village but offers a train station that can take you either way on the Douro. This apartment is attached to a small family run hotel that offers excellent big breakfast for only 5 Euro. They also come into your apartment regularly to clean and ensure you have a good supply of towels. A short walk from the apartment is a nice restaurant that offers very nice meals and wine for a very reasonable price. If you do visit there, try the river fish as an appetizer. They are to die for. A would highly recommend this apartment. I believe the hotel likely offers nice rooms too.

Relax on the Douro.

The cottage/apartment provides a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy life in the small village of Foz-Tua on the Douro River. It's well equipped and clean. The breakfast at the main hotel is inexpensive and a great way to start a day. Three restaurants are a very short walk , as well as the train station. Certainly an idea place to unwind and enjoy a glass on vino.

Tua is a Paradise

The apartment was newly renovated, very clean, and had a good kitchen. The deck looked over the Douro River. Our hosts helped with reserving a boat ride to Pinhao. It was a fantastic getaway. And our hosts very gracious.

Amazing view - great balcony!

We loved this small apartment. It's right on the Douro River, where we could sit on the balcony with a glass of wine, watch the boats go by, and listen to the many birds. It's a separate building but is part of a small hotel where you can get breakfast and also use the pool. On the owner's recommendation, he arranged for a tour boat to stop at the hotel and pick us up to go into Pinhão for a tour of Bomfim Vineyards. We then had a lovely lunch and took the train back. It was a great day! The apartment had all we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Obrigado José
