Beautiful home with amazing views

We stayed here with friends and our 2 year old and had a wonderful time. The home was spotless and prepared for our stay, with lovely little touches throughout the house. The sunroom was nice to have coffee in the morning and the house was close to anywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here a few days. It’s a beautiful property. Only issue was not being aware we are in the woods and large and small wildlife abounds.

Beautiful view

The house was beautiful, the view was amazing. Nice kitchen well stocked. It was great for a family of 6 but if I was with 3 couples it would have been disappointing for one couple. it’s really not a three bedroom. The third sleeping are is a sitting area with a privacy screen. Loved our stay there!

Carmel Mini Vacation

This house location reminds me of the cabin I had in North Lake Tahoe. It's a wooded forest area, very quiet location but with a view of the Bay in the far-off distance. The inside of the house is just beautifully laid out with a very nice kitchen and all the necessities needed throughout. I would definitely enjoy returning here again for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful house and location

Gorgeous views, great location (close to Monterey and Carmel), very attentive host. House was well appointed and very comfortable for a couple. Only slight downside is that there is no bathroom on the main level, but if you aren't traveling with anyone who can't do stairs easily, it's not a big deal.

Perfect location for Monterey visit

My family (5 adults) were very comfortable in the house. The location is close to all the must-see areas of Monterey and the Big Sur coast. The view from the kitchen is fabulous and the birds gliding over the valley are a wonderful bonus. Communication was prompt and easy. I highly recommend. Thank you!

Great location and amenities

The property was clean, well-stocked, and a great jumping off place for our day trips to Big Sur and surrounding areas. The view was spectacular and the neighborhood was very quiet. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Craig was a great host and communication was flawless. Thank you!!

Incredible location, comfortable home

The view of Monterey Bay and the nearby hills covered in Monterey pine was even better than the photos could capture. The location was quiet and dark at night. The house was nicely decorated with artwork throughout and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed. We were happy to find the place stocked with firewood. We would have liked more water pressure in the shower. Overall a fantastic vacation rental. We would love to return someday.

Absolutely Stunning!

The home was pristine and the views were amazing! Our family flew in to see our soldier, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Everyone was comfortable and we felt at home. Our soldier slept on the pull out sofa and he said it was one of the best night’s sleep he’s had in a long time. The weather was gorgeous and the home was the right temperature. We hope it’s available in January when we come back for graduation.

The house is a very comfortable place from which to enjoy Carmel. Craig provided so many nice touches to make us feel at home - wine in the fridge, logs for the fireplaces, etc. We would love to stay here again.

Views & Calm

Exceeds Expectations

The views are amazing! This is a quiet and private property that has great views from floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen is fantastically outfitted—Keurig machine and coffee, foamer, coffee press, rice cooker (yes), martini shaker (YUP), lots of pots and pans, outdoor BBQ, the full bath has a wonderful heated floor! It’s private but close enough to grocery stores, golf courses , downtown. Wonderful property—highly recommend and would definitely rebook!!

Lovely house

Very clean, well appointed, beautiful artwork, with amazing panoramic distance view of Monterey bay. Centrally located to Monterey, Carmel, and Pacific Grove (10min to each). If you want a quiet, private getaway in this area, this is the place!

House condition/issues

The drawback to the property is twofold: - Stale, musty smell inside. Lack of ventilation before arriving. - Older home with other people staying a few feet from home. Not as advertised.
