Loved the arrangement of room with full kitchen and bar sitting, with couch and tv in one room while bed with a tv and bathroom in the other room. The pool and hot tub area was fantastic. They were both outside and it was beautiful. Everywhere, inside and out was very clean. The front staff was so very friendly. The morning breakfast staff woman could have been a bit nicer with clients. It was by an interstate but inside the room you could not tell, it was so quiet. The bed was so comfy. Great area to explore. The beach was within a few minutes drive and it was amazing also. It was clean, and there was a facility to wash off your feet when done walking in the sand. The people we met in the hotel and beach were so very friendly. We were told it is one of the best areas to stay in, and did not need to worry about having our car broken in to. We felt very safe and secure everywhere we went in Carlsbad. We are already planning another trip in the future to spend more time next time and bring out our son, this was a couple get away and it was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.
