"This is a great place to stay. Right across the street from the beach, you can sit on the deck and watch the sunset while enjoying a drink, swim in the heated pool or sit by the outdoor fireplace. Just minutes up the street are lots of restaurants and shopping, all within just three or four blocks of the hotel. The staff are super friendly, and it is in a very quiet part of town. I am definitely going to stay here next time I am in Carlsbad!"

"I can’t say enough about this place! By far the best beachfront location! My two year old loved the playgrounds right on the beach. We spent the morning watching people surf and the evening my daughter sat on the patio (we had a bottom floor room which I highly recommend) waving to the cars as they drove by. "We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor.
