"One of the best places we’ve stayed in . Breakfast was superb with a good choice of fruit and cereal followed by a first class Scottish breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated with everything one might want. Parking was excellent and we were allowed to leave the car well after check out. Mine host Gordon couldn’t have been more helpful."

"Can all of the positive reviews really be accurate? Yes! This is a magical place. Jamie's communication was outstanding. The cottage is comfortable and well appointed. Among our favorite stops were: Gloagburn Farm Shop, Drive up A9 to Aviemore, Dinner at Cairn Lodge, and for me - a day in St. Andrews. "

"Excellent stay at Silver Birch. The bed was extremely comfy and the tree house was really well equipped and well furnished. Hot tub was lovely to appreciate the views. Only minor points we would make would be the shower was a little disappointing compared to how luxurious everything else was. Also the spiral stairs to the hot tub felt quite loose, not the safest option. "

"Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ."

"We had a great stay here. The host had wonderful communication before, during, and after our stay. The place is cutely decorated and well stocked. There was plenty of room for my husband and I. There was a dedicated parking spot that was convenient. The area was really quiet while we were there.This was a convenient home base for day trips to Dundee and Glamis. "

"My daughter and I had a lovely three-night stay in one of the one bedroom cottages. There were so many helpful small touches, like milk in the fridge and body wash in the shower, as well as fresh flowers. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was friendly. The location is absolutely stunning, although the road is very narrow!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Thimblewynd from Aug 09 - 24 and would recommend cottage to others. Cottage was ideally suited for two of us. Loved the character of the house combined with the modern amenities i.e. updated upstairs bathroom. We loved the location in Dunning with a short walk to local Nisa store that had a great selection of items, and the lovely Kirkstyle pub just down the road. "What an amazing property. A real hidden gem. Property was much larger and more spacious than I expected from the listing. Social living areas downstairs were just fabulous and bedroom spaces upstairs were great. A couple of the bedrooms a bit rough round the edges however all bedrooms nice and clean. Outdoor space was great with a fire pit and outdoor furniture. The propertys location is great for peace and quiet, although there is one property next to it we never seen or heard anyone...
