  • Relájese y disfrute de esta isla única desde nuestra casa de lujo diseñada de manera profesional y decorada profesionalmente, a solo unos minutos a pie de la playa. Disfrutará de vistas de 360 grados desde las 3 cubiertas grandes y el porche, así como la sala de estar abierta y aireada en el piso superior de la casa.

    El Butterfly Breeze ofrece muebles de primera línea, suelos de baldosas, duchas de piedra y un baño principal con jacuzzi. Una cocina gourmet grande con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, encimeras de granito, barra de desayuno y un acogedor asiento en la ventana complacerá al cocinero gourmet.

    Tres habitaciones grandes, tres baños completos y una habitación en la planta superior con 2 reyes, 1 reina, y 6 gemelos y duerme cómodamente de 8 a 10 personas. Pisos de baldosas, duchas de piedra caídas, baño principal con chorros de agua y decoraciones de buen gusto adornan esta luminosa y espaciosa casa de planta abierta.

    El alquiler de Butterfly Breeze incluye el uso de dos 4 asientos, carritos de golf, 2 bicicletas de crucero, servicio de Internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad y uso ilimitado del North Captiva Island Club. El Club incluye 2 piscinas, olímpica con calefacción y aire acondicionado y aire acondicionado, bañera de hidromasaje, gimnasio, 2 canchas de tenis Har-Tru, canasta de baloncesto, cancha de voleibol de arena, área de juegos para niños y uso gratuito de kayaks y bicicletas. Butterfly Breeze viene con 1 tabla de remo y equipo de pesca para 2, y el Club también cuenta con tablas de remo, equipo de pesca y botes adicionales para alquilar.

    En la isla hay cuatro restaurantes, Mango's Island Grill, The Boathouse y Barnacle Phil's y Over the Waterfront.

    El alquiler se completa con ropa de cama y toallas, baño y playa, toallas de papel, papel higiénico, jabones; Plato, lavadero y baño. Beautiful getaway!

Loved the house! Several nights spent in the outdoor game room. Beautiful views from the decks, short walk or ride to the beach. It was a beautiful getaway to enjoy some family time.

Butterfly Beach was an amazing place to stay!

Tollie was very accommodating and so were the managers(Helen and her husband) ! Butterfly Beach is a wonderful house and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were fabulous!

What a great vacation spot!

This house has everything you need for a great, relaxing vacation! The house is beautiful and comes with a fully stocked kitchen, great outdoor space with a pool, spa, and screened-in game area. The house is very conveniently located to the beach and the use of the golf carts makes it easy to get to where you are going. I look forward to staying here again next year!

Spring Break Paradise

These hosts think of everything! The kitchen could not be stocked better - has spices, all the gadgets you could want or need to cook, awesome coffee bar, and they supplied us a cooler and ice for the beach. They were quick to respond to questions. Pool/hottub were awesome and the outdoor activities rocked for our kiddos (8/11/14/14/17). Would definitely recommend this house to families!

So much fun

Butterfly Breeze was such a great house for our getaway. The Island was quiet and the house was very comfortable. My kids enjoyed all the games and activities the house had to offer. The pool and games on the first level were awesome! The house had ever you needed to make the stay comfortable and fun. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful stay!

We spent a week at the house and it was fantastic. Perfect location: the pool area is very private yet it is just a short walk to a gorgeous beach and a quick golf cart ride into town. You can watch the sunrise or sunset from the roof deck or the screen porch (or the beach right near the house). Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the game area near the pool. AND having a hot tub was especially great for cooler days or at night! I had one minor question during our stay and the owner got back to me immediately.

We had a fabulous time at this gorgeous property. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and there are lots of entertainment items- with games and puzzles upstairs and game-room downstairs. Even a wine fridge and bar accessories! Plenty of space inside and out for all to find their vacay zen. Just a short walk/ or golf cart (if taking the comfy chairs/umbrella provided) ride down the lane to the beautiful beach. I would say the only downside is North Cap and surrounding islands are still recovering from Ian, restaurant and bar options are limited. However, if you're looking for a family & or friends self sufficient getaway, this is a great spot!

Perfect island retreat.

Butterfly Beach is a wonderful place to enjoy North Captiva and the surrounding islands from. The home is in excellent condition with no apparent residual damage from Ian. The game area is enclosed with screen and was very enjoyable in the evenings. The pool is beautiful. The hot tub was clean and available but we did not use due to the weather. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and all bedrooms well appointed and comfortable. The island location is perfect for beach and Island club access alike. Tollie (host) was always available and quick to respond to any questions.

Island life

I have to be honest. I didn’t realize we were going to an island but have been told that I’m not the first person to make that mistake. Having said that, the house was lovely and in a good location on the island. We spent a lot of time at the house pool, beach and at the table playing games. It was good quality family time! We took a boat over to Captiva Island one day and walked around for a change of pace.Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Exceptional stay

First and foremost, the owners and managers were wonderful to deal with. We were cancelled from another property the night before we were to arrive. They helped us get booked quickly and made the transition (for what could have been very difficult) seamless. The home is beautiful and very clean. They truly took time to stock this home as they would want it to be if they were staying somewhere, especially the kitchen! We’ve been a repeat visitor to North Captiva for many years now and this is one of the best homes on the island. It’s very close to the beach and we watched the sunrise every morning from the crow’s nest. We will absolutely book this home again.

Summer at the beach

We had a great time the whole week at Butterfly Breeze. The weather and accommodations were perfect and as advertised. The rooms were just right for all of us to have our own space and gather on the deck, crows nest or living room together. Didn't do much with the games below since the weather was so great we were on the beach almost all of the time. We did take advantage of the pool and spa after a day at the beach just to relax and cool off a bit. We've been to NCI 11 times now and this home ranks right up at the top of the homes we've stayed at and are already planning for our 2025 trip back to NCI. Thanks for allowing us the use of your wonderful home. We'll be back!!

Beautiful stay

The house was beautiful and well equipped. The pool was very nice, but the hot tub was low on water, apparently due to a leak. The only real problem we had all week was that the golf carts that were provided were not able to hold a charge and kept breaking down so we went through four different, substandard golf carts over the course of a week. One of them even died in the middle of the island after about an hours use, and we were told to just leave it on the side of the road.Other then being unable to explore the entire island due to the golf cart issue, the stay was amazing!

Great stay with family

My brother's & my family had a wonderful visit! Our hosts were so helpful with transporting all the luggage from the ferry over to the house & back. It was evident that they have a love for this special island as they recounted stories of their sea turtle research & local knowledge. The house was spacious & comfortable for all 9 of us, including our 1-year-old daughter (they were ready with a baby gate & high chair). Between the pool & Gulf, I think our 5-year-old spent more time in the water than he did on dry land. It's a short, straight shot via golf cart to the best beach on the island (a great place to watch the sunset). I would highly recommend this house to my friends & family. Thanks for the accommodations & wonderful hospitality!

North Captiva -butterfly breeze

The house itself was nice. Not real accommodating for anyone with problems going up and down steps. Needs a half bath in the game room/ pool area (would definitely save on tracking in sand and footprints). The owner stabbed us with an additional $525 on the day of check-in. Most places (including Disney) don’t charge for infants under 1 therefore we did not expect to have to pay for the 10 month old but he told us if we didn’t pay we couldn’t check in! Knowing we would lose all our money we had already paid we had to pay the additional fee. I felt this was wrong but all he cared about was $$$$. Other than that all of our needs/concerns were met, such as when the water went out, it was taken care of promptly. IF we were to eve vacation in North Captiva again. I will not book with this host. I prefer using a property manager such as tortega.

Island Getaway

Love North Captiva & Butterfly Breeze! Property manager was easy to reach, quick to respond, and connected us with resources to even get ice delivered to the house during our stay. Appreciated the owners at checkin walking the house with us, showing how everything worked, and answering questions. Made settling in so much easier. Same - at checkout asking us if anything needed to be addressed, fixed etc so all was cared for. Thermostat is set to 73 as the lowest temp, not uncommon, a bit warm for some (bedroom on top floor) - maybe adding a few box fans would help. House included: TP, paper towels, olive oil, vegetable oil, coffee, Kcups, trashbags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, hand soap, body wash, & laundry soap enough for our stay (confirm before you go) Well stocked spice selection. Some appear they keep stocked, others are left from prior renters. (do bring flour or sugar if you need) Beach chairs, umbrellas, tons of beach towels, pool floats all in great condition. Knives were in great shape and had a good selection of cutting boards (we do a lot of cooking). No non-stick pots/pans, but has a great non-stick griddle that we used for pancakes/eggs to avoid sticking. (suggestion - metal spatula for the stainless) Grill and Golf Carts worked - well loved but did the job. Blender was awesome. Comfy beds, blankets, pillows. We used Fresh Pick Grocery they were amazing, did pics with Ashley Merrill, Island Girl for ferry, Boats & Fun boat for the day.

Great property but needs some updates

Property is in a great location, had a great pool area and game room. Be prepared for lots of stairs as there are two flights just to get to a bathroom. Kitchen has everything you'll need, minus muffin tins. Property manager is great to deal with. There is plenty of room for multiple families, but property needs some serious updates. At the price point ($6K), I would expect furniture without tears/damage or extensive staining and quality golf carts. Blankets were used on the couch hide the tears. During our visit the hot tub was damaged and unavailable. The golf carts had apparently been damaged by previous guests, got us from point A to point B, but very very slowly. Overall a good stay but won't stay again unless there are updates. We've stayed at other properties on the island for a lot less and property in much better condition.

Not As Described

Posting on behalf of the three families who rented together. Butterfly Breeze – beautiful island and beautiful home. The home requires significant TLC and is not in the condition described. Several advertised amenities were in disrepair or not available upon arrival – master bath jacuzzi did not work the full week, hot tub was only functional our last day. The tips of the cue sticks were gone and none of the fishing poles were usable with either missing or broken reels. Many issues throughout the house with severe water/tile damage on some of the showers, broken tips on many of the chef knives, and the family room couch is badly torn and needs replacing. One of the golf carts had a dangerously loose cover and metal supports and really should not be used until fixed. The kitchen is well appointed with many small appliances. The ice machine was broken so the owner arranged to have ice delivered to us every other day which met our needs except the day delivery did not occur. We had 13 in our group and the home advertised sleeps 11. There were two trundles not included in the bed count. Our extra two were small children and we underestimated how this would be accepted. There was a significant additional charge of over a thousand dollars imposed plus a security deposit that we paid within the hour of receiving notice. The property managers who escorted us to the home appeared to make the assumption that we were trying to “get one over” which was not our intention. Unfortunately this affected any communications we had with them for the balance of the week, the lady was extremely rude. This went as far as them threatening to call the sheriff if we did not keep the noise down after we obliged a neighbor’s request early Sunday afternoon to adjust our music and kid’s frolicking at the home pool. Important to understand that North Captiva is a residential community and you become part of the neighborhood during your rental. Use of the North Captiva Island Club was only made available to us mid-week and required us contacting the home owner directly. Important to note that the high cleaning fee does not cover laundry of the beach towels. The expectation is that all towels are laundered and ready for the next guests limiting pool/beach time on the last day. We contacted the owner for a partial refund and no response. We would not recommend this home, there are others much nicer on the island with kinder property managers (parents of the owner).
