The unit was on the harbor which is a working facility. We enjoyed sitting in the balcony and looking at the boats and water. It was just a little further walk to the beach than the listing said but was still close enough. The weather was such that we didn’t sit on the beach so our walk was unencumbered by chairs and beach supplies.

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was the perfect spot for a 3-night getaway. The views overlooking the harbor were beautiful—especially the sunsets right from the balcony. One surprise we didn’t expect was being able to rent a golf cart on the property, which made it so easy (and fun) to get to the beach, explore downtown, and sightsee around Cape Charles.A must-do: make reservations at Hook @ Harvey, the restaurant located just below the apartment. The food was incredible and made the trip feel extra special. Between the views, location, and thoughtful touches, this was such a memorable stay. We would definitely come back again!

The picture that represents this listing is actually the entrance to the restaurant below the apartment. There are a series of stairs you must climb to make access. This was not verbalized and we did not expect it. We had a person in our group that had knee replacement and this was a struggle. You also had to climb two more sets of stairs to reach 2nd bedroom which should be for little kids only. The walls are caved and we banged our heads several times. We actually left early out of frustration and level of comfort. No amenities..not even coffee.

Birthday

We took my daughter and her friend for her 19th Birthday. Place was immaculate and the added bonus of not having to rent a golf cart elsewhere was great. Would definitely recommend and I will be renting this in the future if it’s still available. Just wish it wasn’t 110 degrees outside :)

The house was above the Hook and Harvey restaurant, but it was a very nice place and very clean. There was a golf cart that we could rent.

Great vacation

2nd time staying and will be back again.View of harbor and sunset is wonderful!Large umbrella on the balcony was great in the afternoons.We had no problem keeping the inside cool on hot days.The refrigerator is working well.Beware, there is a lot of steps but it is the second floor.Restaurant on first is usual empty by 10-10:30, we didn’t mind the little bit of noise.

We come down several times a year and thought this would be a perfect place to stay and it is if you want to be directly over a restaurant that is loud until late into the night.(music and hollering) lots of stairs, TV in main room wouldn’t work, fridge didn’t keep stuff cold and its hot in there. The only positive are the sunset views.

Anazing relaxing stay

It was a truly wonderful location. Perfect comfortable furnishings. Outdoor space was spot on, we spent most of our time enjoying the deck and views. Would come back again ans again!

Girls weekend

The condo was beautiful and the decor was so pretty. Location was perfect. We had an amazing view of the sunsets and relaxed. Enjoyed dinner downstairs. The only complain that we had was the air conditioning did not cool the property. No screens in the windows, so we could not enjoy the breeze. The fridge ran warm.
