"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"Phenominal place to just relax and meld into the natural setting. Pomquet beach just a minute drive away is an amazing bonus. Highly recommend👍"

"Our cottage was clean, cozy and well furnished with stunning views of the Canso Straight and causeway. We used the location to both start our tour of Cape Breton and cap it off 5 nights later. We would definitely go back!"

"We had a wonderful stay here. Paul and Heidi were very kind and accommodating. A beautiful property right up against the Northumberland Strait, which we enjoyed kayaking in. The cottage was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views."

"Southside Harbour Vacations Apartment was a lovely little gem along the Antigonish Harbour. We loved the apartment! It’s a spacious layout with beautiful decor. It was meticulously clean. John and Kathryn were very friendly hosts, they shared lots of information about the area’s highlights and accommodated us with kayaks and a lobster steamer. The host was available for any questions - thank you so much John and Kathryn -PS-it was a pleasure to meet your children- "

"This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. Todd, the owner, was great and always answered our questions quickly. I would recommend staying here if you want to get away from the...
