Terrapin Lodge sits on over 2 acres of land, where Crawford Creek meets the trout-filled Pigeon River! Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah Forest Waterfalls/Trails: Looking Glass, Moore's Cove, Sliding Rock, Skinny Dip, Graveyard Falls, Cradle of the Forestry, and more are very close by. Adventure awaits you in our mountain oasis! Or relax at the cabin, listening to the tranquil sounds of the fresh water going by. Very close to Waynesville and Asheville! Pets: Dogs only, fee per dog per stay, limit 2 per stay. House is in a neighborhood and their are neighbors

We had a wondeful stay at the cabin! It was clean, cozy, spacious and the views were absolutely incredible! The hot tub and porch furniture are so relaxing! The host was great to communicate with...she answered all of the questions we had before and during our stay quickly. The check in and check out process was easy too. We spend a wonderful week here relaxing and making memories together. If we are ever in the area again we would love to book another stay. Thank you!

We had everything we needed. We loved that there were toys for the kiddos, great outdoor space, records to listen to, ping pong, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, fire pit, access to the river, proximity to great trails. All around a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Heather was great with communicating about the weather and getting up to the cabin. This is our 3rd time staying at Terrapin Lodge and it was so relaxing with the fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need to grill and cook. The fenced in yard is amazing if you have pups!

The place itself was beautiful, but unfortunately it was not clean. We were charged a cleaning fee, yet when we arrived there was pet hair throughout the entire home—on the furniture, in all the rooms, on the patio couches, and even in every bed. I completely understand that the property is pet-friendly, but I have two pets myself and my home never looks like this. It appeared that no proper cleaning had been done, and I had to clean everything upon arrival. Aside from the cleanliness issue, everything else was good.

Perfect Getaway

Though we rented the cabin thinking we were bringing our dogs, it ended up just being us two. It was a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Just what we needed. The cabin was absolutely wonderful and it's so convenient between Brevard and Waynesville. It had everything we needed, well stocked and beautifully maintained.

Riverside Cabin Retreat

Check-in process was a breeze. The back porch was wonderful and you can hear the river. Short walk down the river was nice, we took a chair down and enjoyed the sounds of the water. Six people we never ran out of hot water and that's saying something with all the showers in the evening. Also the kitchen is well stocked.

Lovely mountain getaway

This house was exactly what we needed- quick access to the falls/sliding rock, and the fun breweries in brevard. The best part was the creek out back that we played in. The house was great. Couldn’t find the AC unit for upstairs, only a box fan, so it was extremely hot upstairs. But the kids and dog loved it. I’m glad I read about the neighbors so I wasn’t surprised by how close they were. Was not a problem as we were gone most of the day anyway. Thank you!

5 star family vacation

This cabin is incredible and the entire process from check in to check out was effortless! We are already planning a return trip and the Terrapin Lodge will be our go to mountain getaway. The fire pit and proximity to the river were a huge plus and the cabin provides a cozy haven for relaxation. We traveled with two small children and they loved everything about this property. We can’t wait to get back! Well done!

Cabin was very nice and clean and had all the amenities you could want. Would have liked a place with a little more privacy, but that did not hinder us from having a great vacation. Surrounding area is absolutley amazing and beautiful, great if you like the outdoors.

Terrapin Lodge

This cabin was amazing. We loved the hot tub and fireplace and feeding the horses down the road. We visit the mountains often and this was our first visit to this area and this has been our favorite cabin. We will definitely be back.
