"I am surprised this place is open for business. While the receptionist was nice, she was not very professional. The lobby felt old and outdated, more like a motel than a hotel. Various finishes were rusted in the common spaces (a sign of water damage and could indicate a mold issue). The elevator has seen better days. "Extended stay with family. 4 nights. Great location to visit parks and see various waterfalls around the Cookeville area. The room was humid and needed some air circulation when we got there. Shower had nice heat, but could use more pressure. No bath tub. Shampoo/conditioner low upon arrival. Breakfast was good 1 morning, exceptional 2 mornings, and fell completely short 1 morning. "The staff was awesome! The room was very clean and had all of the amenities I needed. I had a microwave, small refrigerator and ice was available too. There were many places in the room to plug in my electronics. The TV offered more channels than I have ever seen in a hotel. I was able to park right in front of my room. When making my appointment, I asked a member of the staff if I could get a bottom floor room and he was very nice to provide me with one. I highly recommend this hotel to others...

Not a terrible smell, more of a mustiness from the AC/Heat not being on for a while.
