All inclusive, except the basics. The location is beautiful, the amusement plentiful, the facilities clean, and yet the 4 star level of service isn’t really there. The food was good with attentive service at the buffet and restaurant. They had a nice range of activities which were easy to access and clearly communicated through multiple schedule listings. However, when my daughter wet the bed during her afternoon nap, it took 4 attempts over 4 hours to get fresh linens (the grand finale being me standing in the lobby in a collagen mask and my pajamas at 9:30pm while three staff members spent ten additional minutes searching for linens and the two remaining staff members did their best to ignore me). No apology was offered, and my attempts to follow up with management were brushed off. Then, two days later, housekeeping removed all our towels (they had inexplicably made up the room even though I didn’t put out my placard requesting it), and it took over an hour to get more. I have stayed at hotels ranging from 2 to 5 stars, and I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes for items like blankets or towels. I’m genuinely shocked at how poor their response time was.
Additionally, the hotel offers no laundry services of any kind and guests have to walk about half a mile to a lavanderia get anything cleaned.
I just don’t need someone to offer me drinks all day if I can’t get clean sheets in an appropriate time frame.
