Our house is rented out for a few weeks in the year to help us finance the renovation work. It is a very pleasant house to live in, 5 minutes from the beach and the village. Everything is done on foot or by bike! Very bright, full of books, a small garden for lunch in the shade or in the sun, it is a real haven of peace to recharge your batteries.
The house is on three levels: a false basement overlooking the rear garden, a raised first floor and an upper floor (bedrooms).
The first level consists of a garage with access to the garden.
Access to the house is from the courtyard thanks to a few external steps leading to a sheltered and sunny terrace from morning until late afternoon. The entrance is from this terrace, opening onto a large open living area consisting of a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom with bath and shower (the bathroom closes with curtains), and a dining room. In the continuity of the dining room, a room closes to become a bedroom if needed (a 160cm double bed or two 90cm single beds, blackout curtains). In the centre of this open room, a wide staircase leads down to the garden level, leading to a laundry room, a separate toilet with washbasin and access to the garage.
From the living room, a staircase leads upstairs and leads to a small bedroom in the second day with a double bed (140cm), a small children's bedroom (1 single bed 80x200cm and possibility of adding a mattress of 70x150 cm), the master bedroom (a double bed of 160cm), an office area, a separate toilet and a small washbasin area.
The courtyard overlooking the street is open and can be used to park two cars. The garage remains accessible and you can park your bicycles there.
