Welcome to our home!<br>Located on Rue du Port in Cancale, our home is the perfect place to fully enjoy the unique atmosphere of Cancale, with its combination of the sea, fine dining, and the relaxed Breton lifestyle.<br>Here, everything is within walking distance: the restaurants at the harbor, oyster tastings overlooking the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, walks along the customs officers’ trail… You’re right in the heart of it all, while enjoying the tranquility of a warm, family-run home.<br><br>This charming, historic fisherman’s cottage is located near shops and the famous oyster market. <br>The nearest beach is about 1.8 km away. The port of Cancale is just a few minutes away, as is the town center. A bakery, butcher shop, mini-market, and many other shops are right nearby, and a supermarket (Super U) is easily accessible.<br><br>Our house can accommodate 6–8 people.<br>Enjoy its quiet, sunny terrace with a barbecue and a small, very unique garden.<br>And for the more adventurous, the Customs Officers’ Trail (GR34), well-known to hikers, is right at the end of the street!<br><br>The accommodation:<br>Our spacious home spans 3 levels and covers approximately 40 m²:<br>- On the first floor, the living area features a comfortable and inviting living room, a dining room, and a fully equipped open kitchen (electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, stovetop, filter coffee maker, and Nespresso pod coffee machine, washing machine, etc.). Everything you need to cook just like at home is provided. The living room features a large TV and Wi-Fi.<br>- Outside, you’ll enjoy a terrace with a pleasant garden that’s well-exposed to the sun and fully enclosed for privacy. Ideal for meals and relaxation, with a barbecue available (charcoal).<br>- On the 1st floor: 2 comfortable, bright bedrooms with storage, 1 bathroom with a large shower and a double-sink vanity, 1 lounge area with a sofa, and 1 large separate toilet.<br>- On the second floor: a beautiful 40 m² space with several sleeping options (2 sofa beds, 1 loft bed, several children’s armchairs, and 1 crib), and a living area with another large TV.<br><br>The rooms are very spacious, providing plenty of room to feel comfortable during your stay.<br><br>Linens are provided (sheets, bath towels, dish towels). Your bed will be made upon your arrival.<br><br>What you’ll love about the neighborhood: <br>You can’t stay here without enjoying Cancale’s famous Sunday morning market—one of the largest and most renowned in the region—featuring local produce, ultra-fresh seafood, Breton specialties, and artisans… A true immersion in local life, just a few minutes’ walk from the house. The perfect spot to fill your basket before lunch on a terrace.<br><br>Nature lovers will appreciate the quick access to hiking trails (GR34) and coastal walks.<br>Saint-Malo is about a 20-minute drive away, and Mont Saint-Michel is about 45 minutes away, making it easy to explore the region’s iconic sites.<br><br>Whether you’re coming to breathe in the sea air, savor local specialties, or simply unwind, our home invites you to slow down… and enjoy.<br><br>Transportation:<br>Public transportation is available nearby to help you get around.<br>If you choose to come by car, you can park for free in parking lots just a 2-minute walk away or in outdoor parking lots in the city center.
