The Space:

You’ll be greeted by an impressive great room that encompasses both the family room and fully equipped kitchen. Soaring vaulted ceilings and tall windows flood the space with natural light, with views of wooded seclusion.



Take time to relax and enjoy the full-length scenic covered-porch, with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. For nights when a chill is in the air curl up next to the electric fireplace for a movie or nightcap. This space boast both charm and comfort; enjoy your stay at Cabin on the Ridge.

The Cabin on the Ridge the Sequel was everything we could have wanted. Spacious, clean, and provided us with all the essentials included a nice dry stock of pantry items. Bed was comfy and the house provided beautiful light during the day with privacy and cozy views. Love this property. We stayed on Feb 22-25 for my husband's birthday and in that time toured the town of Madison and Clifty Falls State Park, but could have driven the surrounding roads and enjoyed the views just the same.

Spring Break in Madison

Our stay at the cabin was great. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. My 10 year old loved the upstairs nook. Communication with the host was perfect. We were provided with lots of property information ahead of time and the host response was quick when I had a question. The property was beautiful and quiet. We had an entertaining cardinal visitor each day. It was a winding, scenic 30 minute drive to Madison and Clifty Falls State Park. We would highly recommend this property to others!

Spacious cabin

Beautiful cabin on a winding wooded lane in Amish country. My boys really liked his seclection of board games. Deck is wonderful in the evening. My only suggestions are small. The movie selection needs a family friendly update. The stairs are a little slick with socks.

When I say you should add this place to your bucket list, add it! The Cabin is breathtakingly gorgeous and I couldn’t believe how clean, well kept, and nice the cabin was overall. We cannot wait to book this place again!!!

Great upscale cabin

I stayed on my own for just one night and it was a great stay. Quiet, nice, and clean. Cabin was as advertised per the pictures. The only things I would point out to potential visitors is that the fireplace is electric and does not produce any actual flames, if that is important to you. Also, there is a neighboring VRBO property a couple hundred yards away, though there is a fence separating it and I still felt like I had a relatively private space. Communication with the owner was great and I would definitely give it a high recommendation and would stay there again given the opportunity.

Cabin on the ridge

Cabin is impressive! It’s well built and extremely clean. Furniture in living room could be more comfortable. Host is excellent with communication. If you are looking for a cabin out in the middle of nowhere then this cabin is for you. Please note that if you are traveling to or from Madison that portions of highway 62 are closed. DO NOT trust your navigation GPS…use the directions the host provides upon booking.
