About this space
Bring the whole family (and Fido!) to this great place with lots of room for fun! Less than two-tenths of a mile to the entrance of Green River Lake, you’ll find the roomy and charming Foster Lodge nestled in a quiet neighborhood. We have not one but TWO King sized beds and a full sized bed so no more awkward sleeping arrangements! Stocked with all the amenities any traveler could want, you’ll feel right at home! No cameras on our property because we respect your privacy. Key pad entry through garage where you can park your vehicle. Plenty of room for your boat, too! We can’t wait for you to be our guest!
The space
Foster Lodge is 2200+ square feet situated on a 1 acre lot that sits directly across from Green River Lake State Park! The front yard is adorned with beautiful, old oak trees, and the backyard is wide open for a friendly game of cornhole or wiffle ball!

You’ll have the entire house (minus an unoccupied basement and 2 owners’ closets) AND the two car garage to park ;)

This was my best VRBO experience to date. The hosts were kind and welcoming. The home was clean and comfortable and was well stocked with towels, paper products and cleaning supplies. The location was tranquil and pet friendly. We had a great trip and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

EVERYTHING was absolutely wonderful about our stay. Katie is without a doubt the best most helpful VRBO host we have ever encountered in all our years of travel. The location of the house was ideal for our Kentucky experience . The neighborhood was small and very secure feeling. The house was spotless, comfortable and homey, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well equipped with all basic necessities. While we were 3 seniors we did note all the child friendly supplies, even outlet covers. This VRBO is at the top of our list for all time best places to stay. Thank you Katie for all you did to make us feel welcome!

This property was in a perfect location-the street was across from Green River State Park entrance. Katy was a great host who provided not only the necessities, but also some extras! Next time we are up this way- we will come back to this spot ( if available) Thank You!

Foster lodge at green river lake is a great place to stay. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and a lot of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The host is the best you can have. Comfy and Cozy Home

There is a lot of love in this house! Made a lot of good food in the kitchen, had a lot of laughs in the living room and had some peaceful walks in the quiet neighborhood. We also gained about 15 pounds due to a nearby Amish market called Tastes Like Home. Great WIFI too! We had a wonderful stay and the host was lovely!

Very clean, small little touches of hospitality. Pet friendly accommodations were great. Photos and memorabilia of the home owner, and antique pieces of history were a nice touch as well. We had a great time outdoors as well, as the home is situated at the start of the Green River Lake State Park. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and would love to go again.

Fosters Lodge…more than welcoming!

We gathered for a college homecoming reunion and left more like family. The furnishings, amenities and layout of the lodge was perfect …The open plan encourages lots of chatter and laughter. Beautiful sun room! The decor just says “home.” Beds and baths and had special little welcoming touches. I would love to book for a week with my own family and enjoy the lake and outdoor areas! Just perfect! 😊

Inviting and comfortable!

We planned a 6 day fishing trip to Green River Lake, and we chose the Foster House for proximity to the lake, dog friendly, layout of the home, and excellent prior reviews. We definitely were not disappointed in any way! We felt right at home, comfortable, clean, everything you need, owner was responsive if needed. Will definitely book again for future fishing trips!

Serene and quiet getaway
