Check-in was quick and easy.
Lobby was very clean and well organized (no clutter etc.)
As soon as we entered room you could tell is was very clean. No unpleasant smells just a pleasant smelling cleaning product.
Some lights on for us and room AC was pre set to comfortable temperature.
Furniture and fixtures modern and with no issues.
Bedding fresh and soft.
Bed was very comfortable.
Bathroom just also well maintained and clean.
Checkout was also very pleasant

"The owners are very nice and try to please but has gone down a lot since I was there 3 years ago. Rooms have basically what you need and is centrally located but the wooden tables outside are splintered and not really where you’d want to sit. There is a small microwave in the room and a refrigerator which comes in handy. A small round table and 2 chairs. A desk chair that was shedding its vinyl. Rooms are clean but could use a painting. "The Steamboat is one of the very best places to stay in Lancaster County. This was my 2nd trip to the Steamboat and it was just as great as my last time a couple of years ago. So great that we extended our stay for an additional night. Employees go above and beyond and everything is clean and well maintained. Would return again and again. "

" This place is a DUMP. Worst place I ever stayed in my life. Bathroom ceiling stained furniture broken. had family living over our unit letting their children make noise until 1am food the worst I ever had. I would not stay there again for free. "This hotel is in need of a lot for the price we paid on Expedia. We have now learned Expedia charges a higher price for a room than if you had walked in the front door and reserved it. We had a “kitchenette”, which included a refrigerator, microwave, small cooktop. No coffee pot, no coffee cups, no cups, no plates, no utensils, no cooking utensils. "Although the receptionist was very kind and did her best to reduce the unpleasant smell in the room, we had a terrible experience during our stay. Water from the shower was running all over the bathroom, to the point where it was soaking the carpet at the entrance to the room, causing a smell of dirty laundry and mould.
We had to go out and buy an air freshener to mask the odour."

"Rented this hotel for the last stay of our trip because it had a pool. We'll when we got there unfortunately someone got sick in the pool and the shut the pool down because it had to be cleaned and wait for the a sample to be taken. So I had to deal with a very unhappy fella after being outside all day in the heat watching the nascar race at Dover.
I know has nothing to do with the staff but I feel I was defeated after a long day and wanted to cool off myself."

"Front desk staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice and bright. The beds had enough pillows and were comfy. The breakfast looked good. We had breakfast appointments so we did not partake. Overall a great experience. We will stay here again!"
