"Some of the walkways were covered in ice which made it difficult to navigate the property. The gym equipment was older and some of it was broken."

"Wir hatten ein Igloo ohne Bad/ Toilette Es ist ein Raum mit 3 Heizgeräten Das Bett hat eine Heizdecke Dadurch das es geregnet hat waren die Scheiben angelaufen und man musste auch die Heizer die ganze Nacht laufen lassen Wir würden es noch mal buchen und die Igloos mit Bad / Toilette probieren Um ein endgültiges Fazit zu ziehen Auf jeden Fall war es eine unruhige Nacht durch die Heizer"

"This was the perfect stop after three days in the Highlands and before continuing along the South Coast. We arrived at Brú after 8pm, which was just about right. Honestly, I do not think we could have driven much further that night. There are completely dark areas between the cottages with no artificial lighting, so there is almost no light pollution. The number of stars you can see is incredible, and this would be a perfect place for watching the northern lights. Unfortunately, we got...

"This was such a nice accommodation, I checked in relatively late and left early in the morning, but check in was simple and the staff were very nice. The room was clean, shoes come off at the front door and they have slippers you can borrow to walk towards your room. It wound have been nice to stay longer, they offer horseback riding and it’s very scenic where this accommodation is located. The food smelt amazing, but we didn’t put ourselves down for any meals because of the times when we...

"Definitely will come back to see the northern lights from Our room again."

"Good service and clean hotel"

"great"

"Fun and clean property with a great staff. We also took a tour with them and received a discount on our meal at the restaurant. Wonderful spot with everything you could look for in a base camp. Palmi on the Thorsmark tour was especially awesome."

"We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. There is even a small shop where they have basics you can purchase (cash only). Having...

"This hotel has received a recent update and the rooms have been tastefully modernized. The bathroom, particularly the shower is tight bit manageable. The issues experienced during our stay were with the hot water and the amenities. The shower controls appear to lack any sort of pressure-balancing valve. The result is that during even a quick shower, the temperature of the water can fluctuate between scolding hot and freezing cold. I assume that this is a result of changing water demands as...

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder ein paar Tage länger kommen... Alles perfekt! Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte ist, dass es nur eine Herdplatte gibt. 😅"
