A cozy cabin overlooking pond, gardens and large lawn. The knotty pine interior is warm and inviting. The two room cabin offers 2 comfortable living room chairs, fully equipped kitchen (toaster oven, cook top, microwave, refrigerator), a very comfortable queen sized bed, 3/4 bath, heat pump mini split for heat and A/C and separate parking. No smoking and no open flame candles allowed. Free guest Internet Wifi access. Paved driveway is shared with the owner's residence. Just 10 minute drive to downtown Belfast. Relax outside around the pond and campfire ring with swinging benches. We welcome you to your Maine cabin experience.

Second time staying

Second time staying. One of the best places we've stayed at. Great location, very clean, and the hosts are truly and sincerely friendly. Seriously, the host are fantastic human beings and great to chat with! (Also, their dogs are adorable!)

What a relaxing stay! Cabin was perfect as were our visits to Belfast.

Thank you, Barbara and John, for a wonderful place to stay in your Little Cabin In The Woods. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable! Thank you for your tips about places to eat, grocery stores, and places to walk around Belfast! We love the harborwalk, rail trail, and pet friendly restaurants along the waterfront! Our Airedale Terrier Rudy also enjoyed playing with your pups Molly and Maisie. Thanks again and looking forward to our next stay at your Little Cabin In The Woods !

Quiet Getaway!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Cozy Cabin. I just wanted to get away for reading and accomplished my goal! I love that there isn’t a TV, but there is WiFi. The fridge is great capacity and the microwave and oven are perfect. There is a grocery store less than 15 minutes away if you’re like me and just want to stay in. Barbara and John leave a great welcome message. I’ll be staying here again when I want a quiet getaway!

Charming cottage and Great Hosts

We got into the cottage and John and Barbara stopped in to make sure we had everything we needed and the cottage was warm enough) on a cold chilly February day). Our dogs were welcomed (we brought our own bed cover but they had one available too!). Great location to visit Belfast. The cottage was comfortable with a well supplied kitchen. Wonderful stay!

Cozy is Right

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful, quiet stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and the wifi was perfect for binge watching our favorite tv shows on our laptop. I hurt my back just as we were leaving to drive the 3 hours from home to the cabin. When we arrived I was still hurting. John gave me a heating pad and ice pack to use, which was very nice and super helpful.

Perfect for us!

This was our second stay at John and Barbara's "Cozy Cabin". We travel from New Hampshire to Maine to visit our elderly aunt and our cousins in Camden a couple times a year. We have 2 dogs, a German Shepherd and a Springer Spaniel who are quite comfortable at this cabin. The hosts, John and Barbara, live in their house further down the driveway. They are down-to-earth friendly and informative about the cabin as well as nearby places to go. The cabin is very well stocked with anything you need to cook (bring your own food). The appliances are great.Overall, we 100% recommend reserving their cabin for your stay.We will be back!Erich and MaryAnn

Sadly, we needed to cancel our stay due to a snowstorm. We have stayed at this cozy in the past and loved staying there with our 2 dogs. This was a perfect place for us! We will request future stays here again for sure!Erich and MaryAnn

Best Little Cabin in Belfast

John and Barbara are the best hosts. I use their property every fall for when I am closing my camp. They are the best hosts ever. They give you the best greeting when you arrive and are willing to help if needed. The cabin is so sweet. I absolutely love how cozy it is. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking at the cabin. And there is enough little counter space to do a small puzzle! I am so grateful they take care of me in my camp closing.

Perfect Little Getaway!

I was looking for something close enough to home, but still feeling like a getaway and this was it! I wanted to get away to somewhere quiet to read for my birthday weekend. The Cozy Cabin was perfect because there wasn’t a TV, but I still felt connected with the available WiFi, just in case. The hosts were non-intrusive and quiet. I read 2.5 books, exceeding my goal! The kitchen had enough amenities to fulfill what I needed, including a fridge and freezer, microwave, a large toaster oven, a coffee pot, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, and cooking utensils. John also told me to reach out if I needed anything for baking or cooking that wasn’t already in the cabin. The bed is comfortable, the right amount of blankets and pillows; the gliders are comfortable as well. There is a side table with an outlet by the bed, which fit my CPAP perfectly. There are two outlets that have two built in USBs each. (Double check the USB outlets by the bed, those did not work but I mentioned it to John and he said they’d look into it.) There are two metal bar stools available for seating at the kitchen counter. There are two cushions for the chairs on the outside porch. I was originally worried about my safety traveling alone, but I felt safe on there property. For those wondering, The Cozy Cabin is about an hour north west from Augusta. It’s 10 minutes away from Belfast, close enough to a lot of attractions, but not right in the city.

Great Getaway

This was the most relaxing getaway we have had in a long time. The hosts were so welcoming and very helpful. Our dog and their dogs enjoyed the visit too. Quaint, clean & relaxing

All the necessary amenities plus some. Excellent place for some R&R. Beautiful outdoor setting and very welcoming for our dog as well - he especially enjoyed the pond. The owners were as pleasant as can be.

Adorable cabin.

Absolutely stunning property with a gem of a tiny cabin. Everything one could possibly need in a home away from home. Fire pit with swings near a pond is a nice bonus. Hosts Barbara and John were gracious and helpful in making the stay memorable.

Perfection

The little cabin was perfect, it had everything you could possibly need. It was also extremely clean & comfortable and I always felt safe with the owners nearby. Speaking of the owners nearby, you’d never know, they give you your privacy & if you do meet them they are lovely people :) I can’t wait to stay here again :)
