Modern Cabin next to Salt Fork State Park

A thoughtfully designed modern cabin created for rest, privacy, and a slower pace in nature. Set within beautifully landscaped grounds less than 1/8 mile from Salt Fork State Park, this quiet retreat offers modern comfort, cozy interiors, and space to truly unwind.

The cabin offers flexible sleeping across two levels. The loft includes two queen beds and two twin beds, creating an open sleeping area with warm wood ceilings. The loft is heated and cooled using a separate unit from the main floor. On the main floor, there is a full-size pullout sofa in the living room and a built-in window seat designed to function as an additional twin sleeping option. A large TV hangs above the fire place.

The bathroom features a full bath with a deep soaking tub and modern finishes. Towels, washcloths, and basic bath essentials are provided for your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and gathering, with a refrigerator, electric cooktop and oven, microwave, and coffee maker. A large island anchors the space and provides seating for meals, conversation, or games.

The living area includes a convenient remote operated electric fireplace, comfortable seating, and a smart TV. Settle into the cozy couch sign in to one of your streaming services and watch a favorite movie. The layout keeps the space open and connected, making it easy to spend time together whether you’re cooking, relaxing, or settling in for the evening.

Outdoor spaces are designed for enjoying time outside. The cabin offers a private large 6 person hot tub, a sandstone boulder fire pit for warm fires and long conversations, and outdoor seating arranged for relaxing at the end of the day.

The cabin is set within open land and natural surroundings. While the grounds are carefully maintained, the setting is rural, and guests may notice seasonal elements such as leaves, pollen, or insects. Routine pest control and landscape maintenance are performed, but nature is part of the experience!

Please note that the cabin is accessed via a long newly installed gravel drive and the terrain is hilly. In normal conditions, two-wheel drive vehicles will have no issue. During winter weather or icy conditions, four-wheel drive is recommended for safe access.

Feeling like grilling? Although we have no gas grill we have designed the fire pit to accommodate grilling for those guests that enjoy cooking over open flame!
