"This place is in a bad neighborhood -- I stayed two nights and I heard gunshots the second evening, in bed falling asleep, followed by a police siren. Homeless / junkies are everywhere. No one bothered me and I felt safe, but it's not pleasant. Check-in is not until 4 -- endless when your flight lands at 6:30 am. They stored my luggage in the building next door, under construction. Despite having all day to get the room ready, the toilet was unflushed and a bit dirty, there was hair on a towel...

"Saw some small bugs near the fridge. The TV is not positioned near the bed at all so its in a weird angle. In a shady area near tenderloin."

"Amazing noise the homeless population noisy all night didn't sleep much. Busy street. No hot water in the sink. Shower stopped working in the middle of soaping up. Only killed two cockroaches. Sheets had burn holes the blanket did also. So I didn't sleep much and didn't take a shower"

"Was among the cheapest rooms in the city, so I wasn't expecting much and didn't get much. Shared bathroom in the hallway, no coffee, no breakfast as advertised. The lights worked and it came with a bar of soap and had WiFi, that is about all. Very rundown property in what looked like a rough neighborhood. I had to choose between locking the window for safety while I slept or leaving it open to air out with a box fan, as the central fan didn't work. I chose to have a stuffy room."

"We only lasted 10 minutes at the motel, then check into another accommodation, we also lost our money this accommodation. Floor was dirty, bed base was ripped, bed cover had cigarette burns and was filthy with stains on it, we pulled the cover back the sheets were dirty, 2 pillows on the bed that were also dirty. Would not recommend this place. Should not be a 2.5 star"

"Such a clean and charming bed and breakfast with so much character. The shared spaces are welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic each and every day! The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."
