"I honestly liked this place. I’m not sure why the reviews aren't higher? The owner and his family are really kind, and helpful. It’s in a really great location too. I stayed there solo and felt safe. There’s a dive bar directly below the hotel with really good food and an awesome interior and really cool bartenders. "A charming vintage property with polite and helpful staff. Don’t come here if you all the bells and whistles of a corporate chain; come here if you want to go back in time 100 years and bathe in a claw foot tub and show your kids what a pay phone looks like. Don’t worry, sheets are new and clean, towels are replaced daily, and it’s a comfortable stay. That said, San Francisco has a large unhoused population, and this neighborhood isn’t immune."

"The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio.
