"The staff and the general facilities and the room were great. Just two downsides. 1. During my stay they decided to drain the swimming pool and regrout and refill. We were told that this would take two days. My time at the hotel finished after 4 days and the pool was still not open. It would have been a good idea to do this maintenance work during the low season rather than with a hotel full of holidaymakers. 2. Strangely you were only allowed to use one device on the Wi-Fi. "When we first checked in to the hotel (rooms 333 and 334), the rooms were clearly not dusted in a while (could see visible dust on the nightstands, lamps, water bottles, rods in bathroom etc.). The sofa had large spots and were dirty. The WiFi was spotty too (general property had 30+MBps while the room had a weak ~1MBps had frequent connection drops). "Novotel Candolim is a very good and centrally located property with all the amenities you could ever wish and you can walk to any local shop or restaurant within a few minutes. Swimming pool is a nice place to be with a nice 35 meter length. Very clean and very nice. All the staff work as a team and are very friendly and professional. "Extremely disappointed. The key card never worked so I had to go the reception every single time and ask them to send someone with a master key card. They replaced my key card 3 times but that didnt help. Meanwhile it was raining and the corridor ceilings were leaking. I found a dead cockroach in my bathroom. So overall...horrible."
