"Mooi huis, mooi uitzicht maar geen zicht op zee zoals vermeld. Ligt haast op de way of Kerry, mooie omgeving. Afgelegen: supermarkt op 20 km en enkel bereikbaar met auto. Bushalte op 2.5km. "

The stormy weather with gale force winds didn't bother us as we were snug in our comfy home with views that go on forever across the white capped sea. "

"We’ve been returning to Seal Rock Cottage for three consecutive years and recently stayed 8 nights in May. When you find a place that checks all the boxes, it’s a very easy decision. The home’s location, while remote, affords the most spectacular views of Kenmare Bay and the Beara Peninsula. It's used (I presume) as a holiday home by the owner, so there's everything you could possibly need in the kitchen (even some basic consumables left by previous guests/ the owner) and everything feels so comfortable and homely. The view is really lovely (even though the garden across the road has obscured a bit of the view) and it's so quiet and private, yet so brilliantly situated close to the Ring of Kerry and not far from Kenmare.
