  • Enjoy the peaceful tranquility of lake life in this charming 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath house located right on the lake. Only 250 Yards from the main lake. This lake front property offers spectacular views, a gentle sloping manicured lot for easy access to the water for swimming and water sports. We also have a shared boat dock with a swim ladder. Features of the home include a beautiful all seasons room facing the lake, 55 inch TV with surround sound in the living room, and flat screen TV's in the bed rooms. Also included is cable TV, high speed wireless internet, linens, towels, washer/dryer, central H/A. Outside there is Traeger pellet smoker grill!. The new 1200 st ft deck faces the lake with plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the views. The many windows across the back of this house frame the beautiful views no matter what the season. 4th Bedroom is furnished with 3 twin over full bunk beds, flat screen TV and NES Classic video game comptroller. The house will accommodate 4 adults and up to 6 children comfortably or up to 8 adults with no children. The house is 2 miles from Prizer Point Marina/restaurant. The Rock Castle public boat access is just across the cove. Enjoy lake living at in the amazingly cozy lake front home.

    A nice property, beautiful view, easy access to the lake, kitchen had everything we needed. Hangers in closets would have been nice. Not aware until check in that kids could not use WiFi for gaming, that was disappointing. But overall a really nice vacation for family. The big round table was great for meals and just catching up! Would recommend this property!

    We had an absolutely incredible stay at this lakefront property—truly a vacation we’ll never forget. The memories we made here will stick with us and our kids forever. It was the perfect setting to bring everyone closer together, with a peaceful lakefront view that made every moment feel special.I’ll admit, the owner’s initial tone and strict rules made me a little nervous about what to expect when we arrived. But once we settled in, it became clear that the high standards are simply a reflection of how much pride and care he puts into maintaining such a beautiful home. We took great care of the property and had no issues at all.The location couldn’t have been more ideal. Our elderly parents were able to comfortably sit on the deck and watch the kids swimming in the lake just below—a priceless gift. We rented a pontoon boat from Prizer Point just minutes away and got jet skis from Barkley Watersports for even more lake fun. The Fishing Hole restaurant down the road had the best breakfast—don’t miss it!The house itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and we loved cooking meals out on the deck while enjoying both sunshine and peaceful rain showers. The sunsets over the lake were nothing short of breathtaking. The provided kayaks were awesome addition!Highly recommend this property for families looking to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.

    Mini Fam Vacay

    We had the best time!!! Our 2nd stay at the paddle house!!! The host is amazing and communication is awesome. We had some rain during our stay but with the covered dock didn’t stop us from fishing and enjoying the view, not to mention the beautiful home with a enough room for all the silly games we brought to play with the kids. Definitely hope this home is available to us next year it is perfect!!!!

    Thanksgiving Family Time

    We've been spending our Thanksgiving Holiday with friends in the Cadiz area for over 10 years. We have finally found a place that we will seek out to use again next year.The home was clean, well stocked, and delightful for our group.

    Beautiful Lake Home

    We had a wonderful weekend with our family in this home. The split floorplan was perfect for our family and the kids loved the bunk room. The large deck with the view overlooking the lake was everyones favorite spot. Five stars all around for this home!

    Relaxing

    Great house and great location. My mom went antique shopping in downtown Cadiz and my dad caught fish off the dock. The deck was a good place to watch the sunsets and relax. Wonderful trip!

    Family weekend retreat

    The location was spot on for my family!!! Sits in a cove so kids could get lots of water time without all the boat traffic. Close enough to prizer point and a small little store not far. The house was clean loved all the lake decor. Peter was a great host and responded quickly to any questions I had!!! Great mini vacatiin for me and my family!!!

    This house was great in so many ways. Right on the water, great fishing from the dock, swimming, kayaking and such a quiet inlet. Inside was a great bedroom for the children and space around the table for meals and games. House was spotless.

    Girls Weekend- 23

    Thank you for sharing your house. A wonderful place to celebrate our 39th Girls Weekend! We had beautiful weather to hang out on your wonderful deck!! So peaceful to sit out there. We enjoyed exploring areas around Cadiz. Went to a craft fair and chainsaw competition!!! Went to Patty’s Settlement and did a little shopping!! We spent our evenings making crafts and playing games. Loved that the house is s ranch! Highly recommend! Peter is great to work with. Fortunately we had no problems so didn’t have to bother him.

    Wonderful cozy lake house!

    Some girlfriends and I stayed at Peter’s lake house this past weekend as a little girls getaway trip before the business of the school year. This was a perfect place for this! The location is excellent and the house itself was so cozy and homey. Pots and pans would be upgraded for sure (we cooked a lot while there), but other than that; we had a pleasant stay! We will definitely be back again one day with the hubbies and kiddos!

    Beautiful view and easy to dock our own boats since the public ramp is just across the cove (literally a 3 minute boat ride from the ramp to the rental’s dock). We would definitely book here again.

    Spectacular!!!

    This property was everything and more than pictures show. Conveniently located to everything we needed and plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children. The view of the lake was gorgeous! Wish we would have stayed longer. If we come again, will definitely rent this house.

    Perfect Quiet Spot

    The location was great and tucked away to allow us to play in the lake back in the cove. Fun fishing off the dock, did some yard games, had a cook out, camp fire for s’mores, and an awesome sunset view from deck! House had a great layout and plenty of room to spread out a bit! Would definitely return!

    Wonderful stay on the lake with friends

    We have gone to Lake Barkley many times, but this might be our new favorite place. The house was perfect for 2 families to enjoy. We loved the deck and the sunset views were amazing. Being able to have our boat on the dock was so helpful. and convenient. The cove was perfect for our paddleboard and felt safe for the kids to enjoy the water at any time during the day. We will definitely be back, thank you for your wonderful hospitality, Pete!

    Would rent again. Have 2 suggestions- Replace the skillets and pots and pans, they are bad. Everything else in kitchen is good. Master bedroom closet is locked, this was an inconvenience for us. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much.

    Stayed here for my brother's wedding and WOW what a great clean home with an amazing view! Plenty of space for everyone and the owner has included everything you could possibly think of from board games to kayaks. I cannot wait to return. Thank you!!

    Great home and Great host!

    This property provides such a great view of Lake Barkley and the main channel along with deer in the yard every night. Peter was a fantastic host and was very communicative and answered all of our questions during the stay. The Kids Cove was a HIT with the teens as it gave them their own space and the Nintendo was great to help pass the down time. The house is very well furnished and had everything we needed for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The TV's were great in all of the rooms and provided enough channels as well. Although we were there for Thanksgiving visiting family, I couldn't help to think about the lake life this house would provide during season. The back porch was beautiful and spacious and the lighting was great. This will be the ONLY house we rent when going back to Cadiz.
