Marina Cove 612 is a beautifully appointed 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom beachfront condo located on the second floor floor of Marina Cove in Flamingo.

The Space:
With direct access to the beach, a spacious, open layout, and upscale finishes throughout, this elegant unit offers stunning views of Potrero Bay and lush tropical gardens just beyond your private terrace.

Inside, you’ll find a tastefully decorated living space with brand-new, plush furniture, tropical artwork, and a flat-screen TV - perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. Large glass doors flood the space with natural light and open directly to a furnished, covered terrace surrounded by manicured greenery and framed by swaying palms.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and backsplash, rich golden-brown cabinetry, a dishwasher, and a large stainless steel refrigerator. Whether you’re cooking a full meal or just enjoying morning coffee, this kitchen makes dining at home a breeze.

This spacious condo comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms feature king-sized beds, one of which includes a wall-mounted TV. The third bedroom includes two twin beds, making it great for kids or extra guests. All three bathrooms are beautifully finished and have plenty of space and privacy, making this home perfect for families or groups.

The Neighborhood:
Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.
Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.

Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.

We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.

Other Things to Note:
Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and complying with short-term rental regulations, which is why all guests are required to complete an independent verification with our trusted partner, TRUVI, before check-in. You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival. Fishing Costa Rica

We fish the Flamingo area several times a year and have stayed at this complex in the past, but first time in this unit. This was a great unit this group and we really enjoyed our stay, even though most of the time we were on the water fishing. When available, we will stay in 612 again.

Great Place and Great Location

Great condo on a small, somewhat private beach. We especially enjoyed time on the deck watching the waves break and watching the colorful birds in the trees. The location is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping and a short walk to Playa Flamingo. Special Places of Costa Rica was very attentive to our needs.

Quiet stay right on the water

The condo was perfect. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. The beach, although small is semi-private and very quiet. Being in the bay the water was very calm and comfortable to swim in. Great location, close to shopping, restuarants, groceries, etc. Highly recommend this property.

Great location

This was an excellent location. Flamingo Beach is great as is Potrero and the beach right in front of the property. Lots to do close by and very central in Guanacaste. We did have some issues. Air conditioner leaked one day, the dishwasher didn't work (even after it was 'fixed') and there was major construction in front of the property where they tore up the driveway. Property is good but getting a little aged. The pool is definitely overdue for some tile maintenance. Regardless of the issues, the property team was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our time and would easily recommend this to friends (with the caveats above).

We have stayed in this building before and knew it was a wonderful location. When we entered the condo we had to check to see if it was the right one. The sectional in the photo was replaced with very uncomfortable and stained furniture, the decorative "beach" pillows were badly badly frayed,the bedskirts were all dirty, curtains were dirty, we were worried about what else was dirty that we couldn't see. The outside furniture was worn (cushions) to include the wicker table had a glass piece over it guessing because there were several holes in the wicker. In the green bedroom there was a window bench that someone threw a foam pad and covered it with an old watermelon towel on top of it. We would not stay there again and felt that what we saw when we arrived and the reviews/photos of the listing were completely different. They compensated us a bit, but felt that it should have been much more. The location was good, but did have a barking dog every night into the late hours, guessing it was at the marina? The good: location was beautiful. Carlos (the manager) discussed our dissatisfaction with the property was amazing. He took responsibility for the issues we had and apologized and did what he could to remedy it. If more management companies were like Carlos I wouldn't rent anywhere else - he was amazing!!!! Very thankful for him. All in all I would not rent this specific unit again but would rent another condo in the building because the location is great.

Great vacation!

The condo was above and beyond expectations! Our balcony was spacious and the view of the beach outstanding. All the furnishings were beautiful with really great bathrooms. The sandy beach was just steps away. The beach was secluded and used only by the residents of the condos. The air conditioning was super as it was pretty hot outside. The managers of the condo were extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. They rented a golf cart for us and it was waiting when we arrived. It was great transportation for dining, grocery shopping and going to a nearby beach with large waves and beautiful sunset views. We would definitely stay here again and will be happy to recommend it to any friends or families visiting Playa Flamingo.

Perfect family vacation location

This condo is in a great location. We atenour meals on the balcony looking out over the water and going to a secluded beach was only 50 yards from our place. Lots to eat, see, and do within walking dostamce and we arranged some excellent excursions through the rental compamy.

Amazing view and beach

Six of us were travelling together and stayed in this condo. Pictures were accurate. The view was beautiful and the location was great. We had our own beach which was fantastic. Short walk to Flamingo Beach and Margaritaville. Only issue we had was that the water pressure seemed to go down at night and we even had no water a couple of nights. I think this was due to the nearby construction. It didn’t affect our the stay, it is what it is, and we would return for that amazing view any time!

Nice place, not all amenities

The condo was lovely and great floor plan with nice finishes. When we arrived, unit above was going through major renovations and much pounding. We called and they stopped for the weekend and then started up early Monday morning throughout the day. We also had one of the a/c units go out on a Sunday and it wasn’t repaired until the afternoon on Monday. Property mgmt company did compensate us for that day. Photos show three pools and we found out when we arrived that only one was available for our use. It was a palapa bar pool and didn’t appear that pump had been running. Many loose tiles. We checked it again at night for an evening swim, but no lights in the area so pool was useless. Condo is very nice and private beach and nearby grounds are gorgeous. It has potential to be an awesome place to stay and in a great area by the developing marina. If planning on staying, just check that no demo or construction is going on. Barring that, it is really lovely.

Pura Vida!

Phem and Alonso were great to work with and we loved everything about the condo and it’s location. The beach behind the unit is great and we loved the ease of walking or carting to all places in Flamingo and Potrero. This is really an ideal location to explore from! Walter Moreno is also a great fishing guide and I recommend his services if you are looking for inshore action! Scooters Chillin and Grillin is a fun sports bar and Colby and his staff were super hospitable. It’s the perfect spot for any sports viewing. We will be back later this year!

Great condo and an amazing beach

Condo is very nice. 3 luxury, hotel style bathrooms. Great location. Amazing beach. I would recommend to stay there. Check in was stressful. We reqjuested exact address of the property but instead property managet sent us directions 3 times. In results we got lost. Other than that, it was a great stay.

We were under the impression that the place was either a town house or a detached house. We were surprised to see it was a condo. There was construction at this condo complex ie. the stairs. Quite dangerous as there were no railing. also we were not told that the pool was apx 20 or so steps to go up to. Not convenient if you have mobility problems. They are also building a marina right next door which was quite noisy and dusty. As for the condo itself it was very nice and comfortable. You should let people know that they need to purchase toilet paper and paper towels as the office does not supply. Very unusual.

Best bang for your buck

My family (two boys 12 and 8 and my husband) along with my momma and step dad stayed here for a week. There are a few cons I will start with. Some of the ‘amenities’ are not actually amenities and cost extra- such as the grill and kayaks (kayaks were one of the main reasons we rented this condo and I got ahead of myself and didn’t verify). Every other VRBO I’ve ever stayed in (12) will have things from past guests...salt....pepper....spices....beach toys...etc (I did however leave tons of sand toys and two boogie boards and left them with the intentions of future guests being able to enjoy them...) this location had none of those. We even ran out of toilet paper and had to purchase some. There was no sunset due to the location of the cove, you have to drive to see it. You can see the sunrise if you get up and walk down to the beach. The construction on one day led us to leave our condo because the jackhammers were unbearable. Of course this was something out of control of the property management company but it was an inconvenience. On the pro side. I felt safe! There is a security guard - no hablas engles- but very kind. The pool is amazing. And HUGE. The condo is very clean. The pans for cooking could use an update but we managed. They do have basically everything you need to cook your fish! If you do let the property manager know about a problem- they will fix it immediately. I emailed and a couple hours later someone was there. The view is breathtaking even without the sunset. We saw whales in the cove! The space was plenty big for all 6 of us! The bed in the master was so comfortable! And Phem. God love her- she is a God send. It’s hard to write anything negative after working with her for 6 months. She is wonderful. Answers questions quickly, knows the area, gives advice (let her help with your car rental) and is just great! We went the beginning of October and we all did in fact have a wonderful time. There is a market crazy close. A bigger one not far down the road. There is a scuba diving and fishing business on site. However if you want to really fish- ask Phem to hook you up with Walter- he is phenomenal. I have zero negative things to say about the property management company just wish I would have done a bit more research on location but that was a personal thing after being in CR before. Also- snorkeling out front was the best part of my trip!!

Great beachfront

We had a terrific time in our stay in Flamingo Beach. Although the building is a little outdated (and at least they are doing some remodeling), the location of this unit is amazing. It has a great view of Flamingo bay, and out to the Pacific. We were within walking distance of a small "private" beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The unit itself is very spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the necessary items (kitchenware, etc.). The refrigerator seemed new, and the updated bathrooms were a plus. The only thing we would recommend for improvement would be to get new towels and sheets/pillow cases. This place was definitely PURA VIDA!!!!

Amazing morning view

Overall the property was spacious and comfortable and the view was amazing. It was three adults and two kids and we stayed in April. There were people working early in the morning outside which was a little annoying but the view made up for that. The pool was nice it would have been better if the bar was up and running. There is a beach right outside and another one up the street, where you can rent chairs and eat at Coco Loco. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They even helped us book excursions and it didn’t cost us a lot.

Great views and secluded beach

Our family of 5 enjoyed the view and lovely little secluded beach. The condo was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and the renovated bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed the short walk to the little store and restaurant Marie's.

great stay.

We traveled from Canada with our 4 children. We communicated with the property manager over Whats Up and he was responsive and easy to reach. The property was clean, plenty of rooms, upgraded kitchen and bathrooms, an amazing view of the ocean. We could swim directly at the beach out side of the condo. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you!
