"De lokatie is erg mooi met dorpswinkel op loopafstand. De kamer was schoon en netjes maar tijdens douchen bleek de douchekop erg te lekken. Diner werd aanvankelijk lauw opgediend maar dat werd op ons verzoek snel gecorrigeerd. Al met al hebben we er fijn overnacht."

"Very cosy and warm, steep steps up to room and parking a few minutes walk away. A wonderful view to wake up to overlooking the river Medway. No breakfast inc and it’s not clear reading the other reviews, I think it’s overpriced without breakfast. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. If you are a light sleeper noisy traffic in the background also. The host was friendly. "

"We had a great stay at the hotel, the room was comfortable, good range of tea and coffees. There was no running water when we checked in (and disappointing that we weren't told this at the check.in desk) but it was resolved within the hour. No robe and towel for the spa in the room so we had to dash back and forth there. The spa should close at 8pm on Saturdays but we were asked to leave at 7.40. "Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk. Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy. Would recommend if you’re near by."

"I had a wonderful stay, very comfortable. A gorgeous room, spacious, with lots of lovely touches. A facinating property, with lots of history & incredible owners. So welcoming, who really made you feel valued, like home from home. Would definitely stay again 😊"

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, couldn't have been more helpful and exactly what I needed in the middle of a busy week travelling and delivering training. Best hotel of my recent trips by miles and great room service which was super convenient and enabled me to focus on working and resting. "good central location /parking on site was easy the only chair in the room 15 was in a disgusting state with large stains all over the seating area (possibly blood etc ) this needs to be replaced or removed "
