"I read the reviews after booking and to be honest I was not expecting much, but it was lovely. Room spacious and clean, bathroom clean and well stocked. Lots of tea and coffee in room, along with biscuits. Are in the hotel, excellent hot food!!"

"Considering the price, we had high hopes for our stay at this house, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. Upon arrival, we found the property was not very clean. There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. "Lovely stay at the inn. Was a late booking to break up the journey but the staff were welcoming and the accomadation was perfect. The pub is obviously very popular but the accomadation is set back and there was no noise despite it being a busy Friday night"

"Made very welcome on our arrival. Room was clean and tidy, and dinner was delicious - all credit to the chef and kitchen staff who had to tackle all the orders for the night in one go following a village wide power cut. Breakfast was very tasty and set us perfectly for the walking ahead of us. The only criticism is that the shower was very hit and miss - either scalding or freezing!"
