We thought it was great to be able to check in late and to have the paid check option, so thanks for those! The responsiveness of your staff when a)the key code didn't work and b)we couldn't get the track lighting to work was appreciated, thank you. However, ultimately, there was a never a solution to the track lighting (just lots of phone time) and the entry lockpad (which is not of a type featured on your helpful guide, btw--it doesn't have a handle) was sort of wasted time for us. Given it was a holiday, and given the massive spread that is Lake Anna, we understand that an electrician couldn't be found in the area. Consider adding more floor lighting to compensate--there was one lamp in the living room. In the end, we could not get the lockpad to lock when we left--we had to lock it from the inside and go out through the sliding door, arranged so that the wood stop would fall into place. The venue is nice enough but could use a deep cleaning or new paint on the rims above the floor and heater vents. Kitchen mostly had the right components. Heating worked well. View was great. Neighbor used a leafblower for almost the entire day on Friday, but oh well. Otherwise, it was secluded and quiet, quite tranquil, a nice site overall. We liked it but we're not sure we would return. We may try to find another Vacasa site.
