"Semarah Lielupe hotel is the best in the area. The location is walkable to the sea and the surrounding area is beautiful and safe. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and very professional. "This was a very comfortable and large apartment with two rooms and a kitchen/bath. There was a washer and dryer which we did not use but were happy to see. There is a shower and a tub! The beds were extremely comfortable - nice and firm mattresses and everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with details. "Lovely hotel. Spacious & comfortable room. Great breakfast. Would have preferred a separate shower cubicle in place of a shower over the bath. Would also have been nice to have a separate sitting area in the hotel lobby, for relaxing and reading, etc. But these are minor quibbles in what was, overall, an excellent stay."

"New hotel located in Old town Riga .. walking distance to all main attractions.. Our room had a nice king size bed, spacious bathroom, good AC .. everything very clean .. Bathroom products from Crabtree and Evelyn brand .. Powerful hair dryer . Breakfast is somehow expensive but excellent quality … So many choices .. all you can eat .. It was a surprise for us because in USA is not the same quality .. We highly recommend this facility while visiting Riga "

"Great little hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable, and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was of a great standard. The roof terrace was a nice bonus, and the hotel is situated just off the main street and a short walk from the beach. Negatives were that the walls were a bit marked and the carpets were slightly stained, but overall a really nice hotel. Perfect for a relaxed break."
