"We enjoyed our stay. We wanted a quiet, peaceful, relaxing time; and that was what we had. We loved sitting on the porch watching the river flow past and enjoyed watching the barges. The breakfast was amazing. It was great food and such a large amount that the 2nd morning we shared one breakfast and was still full."

"We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum. "

Our previous rental cancelled on us 2 days before we were supposed to check in and this property was shockingly available and could sleep all our invited guests. And it was absolutely perfect! "The property was easy to find and very convenient to retail and restaurants. Everything was very clean. Bed was comfortable and all the amenities ( towels, shampoo, coffee, etc) were nice quality. "Where do we start.. What an amazing place to get away. The house is beautiful and well stocked definitely everything you need just bring your food. The property is beautiful and so quiet. "This was our second stay at this home mostly do to the fact its close to other family, accepts pets, and has a private larger yard. We also like the old historical nature of the home. I mentioned on my previous review of the home needing some TLC. The home is still the same, no fixes that we can see from two years ago.
