Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This 100 year old 4 square home was previously home to dentist office to a local dentist for many years. Located in the historical district of Main Street;this property is within 2 blocks of the world’s only Mothman museum. Shops, restaurants, river museum, flood wall murals displaying the history of Point Pleasant and the riverfront and Tui-endi-Wei parks are also some of the attractions within walking distance of the property.

The space

Rental B upstairs will be a one bedroom/living /full kitchen and bath. Entrance to Rental B will be thru the White door with Letter B on the door. The light switch at the top of the stairs will turn on the hall light and there are touch lights on the stairs for extra lighting you can turn on as well.

Guest access

Rental B upstairs you will have access to the living room, kitchen, bathroom,and bedroom.
The upstairs rental will only have access to on street parking along Main Street.

We loved our stay here! The hosts were extremely helpful in communicating with us, and the apartment was very well maintained. We came to Point Pleasant primarily to visit the Mothman Museum which is within walking distance of this apartment. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Point Pleasant!

This place is such a gem! The Mothman decor was so fun to look at! We had decided we wanted to watch Mothman Prophecies while in town and we were so excited to see that the host provided the DVD for us to watch! Definitely a perfect stay!

Just a short walk from the small businesses on Main Street. We stayed just after the mothman festival, so lots of Mothman decorations! I didn’t remember seeing the decor on the listing, so it was a wonderful surprise for me and my partner. The ceramic on the tub was flaking, so we did need to wear our pool shoes when showering, but the water pressure was great and shower soaps were provided.

The host was very nice and responded very quickly to text messages. The house is old, but it was nicely decorated and it had everything I needed to be comfortable. My suggestions to improve the stay: a larger mirror in the bathroom, replace broken blinds, provide ice cube trays, and a little more attention to cleaning behind and under things. Other than that, it was a good location and the host was excellent.

Historic charm with a MothMan siting

Nice stay! Enjoyed the historic charm of the house and the location was great!; a short walk to the historic downtown and MothMan museum that my son was so excited to check out. He loved all the MothMan memorabilia in the house as well.

Mothman and History

We came here to see the Mothman museum and loved are stay not only at this property, but the town as well. The Mothman decorations were awesome and the house was a very cozy and enjoyable stay. We were surprised the town had a lot of history as well and we enjoyed the museums and murals/monuments that were located around town. The decision to come back for another visit was already way before we had to leave this beautiful house and town.

Five Stars and will come back

My stay exceeded every expectation! The place was immaculate, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything I could need was available and in great condition. The communication was prompt and comprehensive. The location is so convenient, and it's great to see how much effort Point Pleasant is putting in to build a great downtown. I will absolutely return whenever I visit again.

Lovely and convenient accommodations!

This gem is a great place to stay! Kent sent our check in information right away, and we knew just what to expect. The rooms were larger than they seemed in photos, and we hadn't realized we would have a private kitchen and living room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Super clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable. Hosts were professional and friendly, and answered questions quickly. We felt so welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice place right downtown!

Rock the Country Stay

We waited a little late to make our reservation for the festival in Ashland KY and had an hour drive both ways. Turned out to be very fortuitous! We loved the property! Wonderful accommodations! Nice three room upstairs apartment in an old historic house by the river. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of fun history in the small town of Point Pleasant. Don’t miss The Mothman statue and museum!
